Just a quick update from my recent stay (past 2 nights!), they have added a DVD player and Digital Alarm clock to each room. The internet has been fine on my past 3 or 4 stays once set up correctly!

he said that swiss grottino was planning to open another place across sukumvit on soi 18 in the future
i am planning to stay at swiss grottino a couple nights on my next trip in august...only worried about the "hot water" situation that keeps on popping up on many of the postings
but i've always stayed at either city lodge soi 9 or majestic suites
i wanted to "try" a different view since I always end up at nana plaza and have only made a rare visit to soi cowboy because of the proximity....i'm spoiled like that

Regarding the Hot Water, (I have stayed at SW more times than I can remember!) there is plenty for a good 5-10 minute shower but then you have to wait a few minutes for it to reheat, I believe they have a 30 or 40 Litre Tank for every room! The only problem is if you TG takes long showers before you!
Have seen the Mock-Up Room for their Soi 18 Hotel, smaller than SW but similarly finished. Location is not as good but not too bad. I believe it will be priced about a third cheaper than SW for a standard room but they will have a couple of deluxe rooms with Jacuzzi's!

The hot water thing never was a problem for me. Thing is to show your TG the small hot water tank and that is why you have to take a shower to together
