Why do you troll this thread forever pointing out your view on this hotel when (as far as I know) you have only stayed their once?
Now if I am wrong forgive me I didn't read all 36 pages of the post. If you have stayed there twice forget the below post.
I have seen one of the rooms you where staying in (you showed it to me). It was very nice, large and nothing to complain about to be honest. A bit farther from Suk but still very nice.
The rooms at the Swiss are smaller then the room you showed me but also closer to Suk.
I like the Swiss, but must say at 1800 it is now a maybe but I would not rule it out that is for sure.
It is a different hotel in that it is small. It has no pool, gym or free breakfast, do I care? Not really as I never use those things (although after reading CG's FR about the pool I might reconsider the pool factor).
Yes I read about the bad service you received at the Swiss and how they got it all screwed up. I will agree from what you wrote they did f*** up. I will also even admit that when that happens to me I don't forget or forgive very easy. Most likely I would never go back to the place again.
However I don't know I would keep posting about it in a thread so long after the fact? If you want to keep slaggin the place might I suggest you try it again for a couple of nights. If they screw everything up again well then continue posting, you just have more experience about the place.
I found I liked the fact the hotel was small. Don't know why but I liked it wasn't a large hotel. Close to Suk and I loved the decor of the rooms. Some how I liked the decor of the smaller room then the larger room you had (and that room you had was a very nice room no complaints). I guess I found the rooms at the Swiss more leaning towards sex. Loved the two bath robes (Thai chicks look very hot in a white bath robe).
I liked the bed and bedding that reminded me of Europe. The under bed lighting is great for sex. I also liked how you can leave at 4pm and come back at 5pm and the room is made up.

Well, this is where you are getting it wrong. What was my last "slaggin" of the hotel? Here, let me quote myself;
"Is it a rat hole? – No. Is it value for money? – Maybe once, highly debatable now."
Yeaaaah....I can see how saying that the value for money for this hotel is highly questionable can equate to a heavy "slaggin". In fact, if you took the time to read back a bit more, you will see others have said the same and I agree. I don't need to go back and stay at the hotel again to question its value for money.
If they screw everything up again well then continue posting, you just have more experience about the place.

I think you are getting mixed up here...as I recall, all rooms in the hotel are basically the same. I've got a feeling you are mixing it up with photo's of other hotels I stayed at.
In relation to trolling this thread and "slaggin" the hotel, you should also know (from reading the whole thread) that there was a bit of ongoing discussion about RTB's "promotion" of this hotel. Now if RTB has dealings, kickbacks, rub my back I'll rub your back relationship - his business and I couldn't care less about what he does on the streets of BKK.
What I do care about is someone coming across and recommending some place and benefiting from it under the guise of helping other BTF members. The recommendations on this forum I would think, are to benefit members as a whole....not the individual member. As I've said before, I see RTB as no better than a tuk tuk driver taking you around to the best and cheap places and pocketing a commission. I guess lOS does that to you after a while, look after number and pocket some benefit while "helping" (sic) out other people. But really, this has been discussed already and no need to repeat myself because you are too lazy to read the whole thread before posting.
Do much shopping with a tuk tuk do you?? Hows those gem stores looking these days or those 24hr tailors??
