Its a shame the Grottino is getting a bit expensive now, although even at 1950 bht its good value compared to what you get in England or Australia. I stayed there last year and I really liked the place, Its my favourite place to stay in Bkk and I like the side entrance ( I hate big reception areas ) and the room decor is nice. But seems hotel rates in Bkk are on the rise, even the Manhatten is up to about 1400 baht these days and you used to be able to get that for around 900. Im might check out the Cozyatten soi 10. Looks alright.

It's NOT England nor Australia,,, but prise rises are getting out of control.
Ice in the SAHARA is 3 Euro per 500 grammes,,,,,, so is 1 Euro per 500 grammes a bargain in the Arctic?
SG is a nice hotel same with the management,,,, it is all of BKK that is getting way over-priced for what it is.
YMMV.

I like SG (I would have liked it even more if they did not throw my valuables in the garbage), and thought it was a bargain at 1000 baht (or something) a night when they opened, 1300 baht was OK, even 1500. But at 1950 there are better deals to be had - even in Bangkok.
The rooms in SG are very nice, but they are small. And then: No swimming pool.

Is that because it is a serviced apartment or am I missing something. I could never stay somewhere if they only cleaned my room once a week. Heck sometimes I need it cleaned twice a day 
Or does that mean for a charge they will clean your room everyday and what is the charge then?

Brilliant - this kind of 'oversight' never fails to amaze me, particularly considering how many safeguards and graceperiods are built in to these.

If it had already been done, the expiration date would have been updated, and the status would no longer show as 'locked'.
If Grottino dude was relying on this Manitta person, and they were left in charge of renewals, that may be part of the issue -- the best advice I can give people about their domains is to always have them registered yourself, and to make sure that you select one of the auto-renew options, with valid credit card, but more importantly, a valid email, in use... All my client accounts are left on auto-renewal and the notification emails go straight to my mobile. Domains are too valuable to flake on them.
You forgot the most obvious situation - Manitta no longer works there, and worldsites has deleted the e-mail, without forward or bounces... Thus, the expiration fails silently -- have seen this happen more times than I wish to recall.
