All that was rcvd was an email confirming the dates which works for me. Based on the website and BTF posts - this seems to be a individual owner - not a major corporation and well reccomended. The fact that there is no confirmation number is not concerning.

How far of a walk is the walk from Grottino Residence to Sukumvit? Is it as long of a walk from Grand President to Sukumvit?

From the little soi where Grottino is located to Sukhumvit is about 100 metres. If you are heading up towards Nana then it is quicker to take a left out of the hotel and left again on to Soi 17.
Someone asked about noise. Generally it is pretty quiet but my first two nights were in Room 36 which is at the end of the corridor and the noise from the Japanese karaoke next door got a bit irritating. I mentioned this to Daniel and I changed rooms to No. 50 which was fine. But if you are coming back really late any noise from next door would not be problem as the place should have closed up or you will probably be too pi**ed to notice and/or too focused on other things.
