Sabai Mansion, Krabi, do not get confused with Krabi Town which is about 30 minutes by car and inland from Krabi by the sea.
This is a really nice place, very clean, great pool and spa. I have a room with Queen bed, tiles on floors, separate toilet showers in next room, air con with fan, big fridge. Right on the main street and quiet this time of year. Rates 400b night, laundry 35b kg in house, nice little bar next to pool, but because of few occupants in the hotel, bar closed. Good hot coffee avail, friendly owner (Dutchman) and friendly staff. High season about 1000-1200b night, but I think you can do good deals for long stay.
This is partly a Muslim area but it is not in your face, so be mindfull what you do down here if you approach the ladies. Very tourist friendly area.

Taxi fare from Krabi airport 500b, 35 min drive. As you come into Krabi, the hotel is on the R H S, 200 metres back up the hill from McDonalds and about 400 metres from the beach.
I have no interest in this place at all, if I come across a good place I will let other members know about it as this forum is about helping each other and OK shit-stirring, hahahha.
Also if I come across a shitty place I will let you know.

Off to Krabi in March 2007m toss-up between Sabai Mansion and Phra Nang Place. Sabai has the swimming pool, Phra Nang Place a shower with enough room for two.
