Is Novotel in Siam guest friendly? I have been to CM2 a few times but never checked out the lobby. Is there a walk of shame for the girls? I always book a double with my gf name. Thanks men.

According to every post on this forum that I have seen, Novotel Siam is not GF. But I have never stayed there myself.
The Novotel Lotus on soi 33 at one time was GF, but many people have reported recently that they sometimes are asked for more money when trying to bring a girl back to their room.

I stayed at least 5 times. This hotel is not guest friendly. One time they charged 1200 Bhat. This hotel is more for business travellers and group tour people from Japan and China.
Try other places.....................

I stayed at the Novotel Lotus from Oct 26 to Nov 1, 2006 and I never received a exta charge for bring in a guest.
Look for the star next to your room number and if they have a star by your room number it mean you are allowed a guest with no charge. If you have no star by your room number if mean they will add a charge for your guest. I booked for 2 and they never charge me.
Management told me they are guest friendly if you book for 2.

Novotel Lotus is not GF even if u book a double if you book at discounted rates through an agent/online.
However if you book direct with the hotel, then it GF and you normally get a much better room with a nicer floor location.

If you book the hotel through an agency and have GF problems you are in between a Rock and a Hard Place.
You have paid up front and have only 2 hopes of getting a refund, no hope and Bob Hope, and Bob Hopes just left town.
If you book the hotel direct the hotel knows if it hassles you over bringing a girl back you can just check out and stay somewhere else.
