I highly recommend this hotel for the first few days of your stay. Short walk through back alleys to Sukhumvit and Nana.
I was able to use a considerable amount of Hilton points to secure rooms on the executive floor. Arrived on late flight from States and have been pampered back to life with awesome rooms, great health club, pool and staff that goes the extra mile. While at the breakfast table a manager came over and told us that we had left our security safe open in our room, could we please go and lock it. Safe was open, maid standing next to it, everything in order. She showed my wife how to close and lock correctly.
That is service.
That and the rain-drenching showers in the rooms and I may never leave...

Conrad Hotel is guest friendly. The executive lounge used to not be short friendly. Even the lobby bar after certain hours. Things have changed and the EL is short friendly now.

Referring to short pants, dress code.
Townlodge is a very pleasant place to stay, even though on occasion loud mating music can be heard emanating from the Toxic Lounge.

You will never ever see me in shorts at Sukhumvit but at the end of Soi 18 they are very suitable.
On my last trip I had an encounter with a dog (a female guests pet) at the TL lobby. The beast was very attracted by my slender calves!
