Looking for some cool places with a 20-30yr old crowd that plays SF style deep house, breakbeat, etc. Any suggestions? Not necessarily looking to score with the ladies, just a place to have some drinks and listen to good music. Thanks!

i don't think any of those places like mos, lalunar, q-bar, narcicus, and lucifer play any type of deep house or breaks...
mos is prob ur best bet because they do have tech house and euro house sometimes...

deephouse, as the name implies, is a genre of house that's deep and soulful. often jazzy and laidback, it's not your typical banging hard house you find in the big clubs. chicago house producers such as derrick carter, marshall jefferson, larry heard have been churning this type of tunes for years. it's a great music to chill and lounge to.
breakbeat is pretty emcompassing term, basically anything that's not 4/4 (thump thump thump thump - 4 kickdrums per one 4-beat measure). hip hop, bigbeat, jungle, breaks, 2-step, broken beats, etc. are all breakbeat.
i wonder...how does one go about getting a dj gig in bkk? i've never played oversea before and would love to see what crowd reaction will be with lesser known genre such as 2-step.
