just wanted to share that forte is a nice place to hang & watch some Uni girls do the cyote ugly thingy for big money, but still they seem friendly & easygoing if approaching them in the bar. obviously it's not a gogo so they can't be BF'ed, but I hear you bro's often get lucky & shag them on private dates right?

Its not really a bar fine. The girls who sit with you are salaried and are required to work some 28 days a month. Days they do not work they get deducted from their paycheck. Once a girl comes to work, she's not allowed to leave, if you'll notice, the girls will only walk you to the door and not down the stairs. The doormen make sure they don't go anywhere. So if you want to see a girl outside of work during the evening, she has to skip work and will lose i think 1500 baht (150 baht per round, 10 rounds per night). However, I have at times have had a good time with a girl and wanted to take her someplace else, I was already had taken 6 or so rounds for the night so i just paid the full 10 to take her out. No sex though, some girls do not put out or at least require massive amount of effort. Problem is that its expensive since the girl works almost everynight, you either have to pay her her lost wage or pay Forte to hang out with them. If you're going to put the effort into it, i say go for the dancers. On slow nights, i've had orbit dancers sneak out and cross the street to La Lunar. Speaking of which, the owners of La Lunar are trying to tweak its atmosphere. They dumped their regular bands. I'm gonna miss those two hot singers who'd do that lesbian stuff while singing Zombie.
In general, you have to put time or money into it. Girls at clubs require time, they're not going to sleep with you the day they meet you (and of course, it will also take money).

I don't think i'm being patronizing at all or at least it is not the intent. And i have been reading these forums on and off for quite awhile and have found them quite helpful. But overtime i have begun to realize that my personal experience is beginning to deviate a bit from what i read on the forum or that some of the answers are a bit inaccurate.
For example this thread, I think its best to clear up that the term "barfine" does not apply to Forte as it does to a gogobar. Yes, you can pay a girl to leave, but the price depends on how much the girl's worked that night, not a fixed rate and it does not at all imply sex, far from it.

At a place like Forte each night is counted as 10 rounds (or something like that) where each round is a 45min session w a customer. A non member for example pays, iirc, 450 baht per 45min session. The establishment takes 300baht, the girl gets 150 baht. Girls get something like 2/3 of the price for drinks you buy for them and some other portion for food or any shots she gets the guys to buy.
If you don't come into work, you get 1500 baht deducted from your salary or 10 rounds x 150baht per round. Once a girl comes to work, she cannot leave until she hits her 10 rounds, so if the girl is willing and the manager willing, you can buy out her 10 rounds and take her out. For example, i was with a girl for i think 6 rounds and then i wanted to go to another club with her so i paid for the remaining 4 rounds and left.
But you need the permission of both the girl and the manager/sales lady. The manager wants you to stay and keep buying drinks of course. But i had been there enough times and had already drank enough that she let us go.
So the amount you would have to pay to take a girl out is dependant on how many rounds she's already done. Though i guess she could always lie and say she's done none.
