Sup' gentlemen,
I went to a club last night called Club Orbit.
Overview:
They have dancer dance on the bar counter and you can buy them drinks. They also have ladies like Piano Bar to sit with you and that you can take out. You are not able to pay the establishment to take out the dancers. This means that you can only see them if outside if you get their numbers and arrange something on the side.
Review:
Great place to hang out. The females can dance, the music is awesome and females very friendly.
Details:
Orbit is located at Soi 26.
Ladies drinks are 300 baht per drink, and the ladies will sit with you for 45 minutes. Also, the ladies drinks are any drinks for the ladies. So you can buy her a beer, mix drink, shot, or a soda and it's still 300 baht and 45 minutes.

Follow up information:
A bottle of whiskey is about 3,000 baht. Beer is either 120baht up to 300 baht. I can not remember. I was drinking the whiskey.
The managers/hostesses are very good looking.
If you drive, parking is not a problem because they have plenty of parking, as well as a valet service.
Music ranges from club/dance to techno music. The same music you get at RCA or Sparks.
If you have been to Piano bar or Club OZ, then you have to visit Club Orbit. I think that this places is much better then the other two menioned above.
Next time I go, I will get the membership information.

i am member in forte and other places but really like to try orbit. how far into soi 26 is it. how is the setup compared to places like forte? how about pricing for girls and possible take out lt? what is the typical background of the girls there? i suppose bgk style with "ramkamheng" university background?

I always went between 9:30 and 10:30pm. This way you can still get a seat at the bar and there are still many females that you can sit with if you also want to think about taking a female out. Just remember that the only way you can take the dancers out is to work it yourself. They are not part of the "take out" menu for this club. THey are only there to dance and talk. But, they are very beautiful and can dance. Not like at some of the go go bars where they just shift their weight around. Not at Orbit. They can dance!!!

I am sorry, but I can not remember the prices for the memebership. But, if memory serves me correclty, they range from 30,000 - 60,000. I am not sure what else you get for that amount, but I know you can sit upstairs in the VIP area. To me why would you want this?? You want to be sitting at the bar, having a couple beers, right in the middle of the action. ha ha ha!!
As for the education of the females, that did not come up in our conversations!! ha ha ha!!
I have never been to Forte, but this club has only been around for about 6 months so it's new. I think it has that "New York" type club look, but I'm from California!! ha ha ha!!
As for taking a female out. Have you been to Piano Bar?? If so, then it's the same type of set up. You must buy the females drinks for them to sit with you. The more you buy the longer they will sit. Of course if one really likes you then buying her one drink might last the entire evening. My Thai translator only had to buy one drink for his female the entire night. Again, each drink is 300 baht. None of us have even taken a female out from Club Orbit, so I am not familiar with more then just the basic pricing.
*** My opinion is that you can find less expensive females at other clubs, but the atmosphere, music, and entertainment more then make up for the lack of being able to take a female out 100% of the time. I hope this makes sense. I have also taken females with me to Club Orbit just to hang out. It was fun and they did not mind going to this club.
One more thing. The females where very short skirts and they are dancing on the bar counter. You are most likely sitting on the bar stool looking up at them while they dance. You will be able to tell what color her panties are or even if she is wearing any!! ha ha ha ha!! ***

Luckily there is no cover charge. Glad the information helped.
Think of this place as a huge bar with many females dancing on the bar counter. The bar counter is in a figure 8. There is a bridge over the middle of the bar. The music is cool.
What I would suggest is that you get a spot on the bar and then take a look at the females that will go out. Chances are that you will only look at them and pay more attention to the dancers!! ha ha ha!! That is what happened to me.

I never strayed further down Sukhumvit road beyond soi 33.
Sounds like I should check out Orbit. Presumably the club can be reached on foot from Phrom Phong BTS station?? How far is it from main Sukhumvit road??

I am sorry, but I am not sure how far it is from Sukhumvit road. I usually drive. Okay. I don't drive, I either take a taxi or a thai friend drives me.
Do not let your eyes bug out when you see all the females standing on the outside. They are the managers who will seat you and take care of you. I wish they went out!! ha ha ha!!!
Also, another interesting thing is that this Club/Bar gives you are the drinks on credit. What I mean by this is that it's like the go go bars. they just have you sign a slip of paper and at the end of the night, you ask them for the bill. The danger to this is that you need to keep a running total in your head so that you don't all of a sudden drink too many drinks!! But, it does make it very comfortable to order drinks and continue to talk without having to constantly reach for your wallet.
