Just wondering how old you have to be to get into nightclubs/ discos in Bangkok
Im only 18, but I could pass for 21 without having to show my ID obviously, if the age limit is 21 do you always check IDs?
Thanks for any help

It depends, some places (like cm2) are pretty strict: even farangs have to show their ID.
AT Q and Mystique you *might* get unlucky as well. RCA should not be a problem.

I think its 20.
A smile and a drink will get your further then a bribe attempt, methinks. Anyway, I wouldn’t worry too much. The color of your skin should save you in most cases.

Na ! The color of your skin will not help much. You might not have spend lot of time in RCA lately. ID Check for all. If you really look older then you might get away with it but I would not put any money on you.
Q should not be an issue. though I havent been there for a while.
Bed is a No No.
CM2.... well dono... my last visit there was in 2004 (They checked my ID).
Narcissus should be all right.
Best bet, tapas and Lucifer.... would be surprising you get a check there. This I am ready to put some money.

Not that I am young enough to worry about getting into a club, but I always show people just a generic photo Work ID that does not have any real information, except name and pic. You might want to try that route. Plead ignorance.
