Thanks for the honours Yurune and Smegma. To explain, this is not because I am a regular (!?) but my GF calls it 'home' (??).
In addition to the valid info from S and Y.
Entrance during week days is B 400. (After approx 01.30 they give up collecting, like y'day Smegma) Weekend they charge B 600. This includes 2 coupons for B 200 towards drinks. Great pouring measures, they pour real drinks here.
Great Long Island Iced Teas, I agree.
Sunday and Monday are Hip Hop nights.
Owner is German, at least according to the info I have.
At present a lot of tourists, low season a bit more local crowd. At the moment every day fairly busy. Visited by all kinds of people, including (too many!?) freelancers.
Beers are B170, Long Island B 220.
Bottle sales is good, Absolut VoBKa goes for B 2800. (VoBKa always chilled at -18C.)
Girls to go for B 500, do not try is my advise. Too many non locals think that all girls here are for sale. They are not!!!! My GF is always anoyed being offered money, you can buy her a drink though...

It was a light-hearted remark to get the juices flowing in some people. It didn't fail, did it? 
To expand on Manuel bkk's last paragraph, one is never quite sure (at least for newbies like me) on what is the etiquette with girls in bars & discos like Q Bar. This is why the help of expats is highly appreciated.

q bar is on my list, still. I was there more often in a previous life when I resided on soi 13.
it is a place where I used to bring "proper" female company, which has something to do with the long island ice tea, and the starlets frequenting the place.
there was always enough eyecandy for them. "did you see X, presenter from channel 9??" of course I didn't know jacksh_t and the apartment was quite close when their knees went wobbly and the barcounter started to spin.
all in all a pleasant new york style hangout...

Just play the game. Chat with them for a while and buy some drinks, soon enough you will know what you can, or can not, expect. Do not walk up to a girl because she is nice looking and start offering B 3000. This actually happened to my GF 2 days ago in GT. She went into hiding into the toilet at GT (Yurune, between all those well spoken other 'ladies') until I came. Guy was surprised when I returned together with her and sat down next to him. He paid his bill and left..... HaHaha.

He was just an idiot in my opinion. Walking up to any girl and start offering money is rather stupid. At least outside Gogo bar scene.
