Yes that's ok if you like that crap,  but do they sell beer or Cider?
Can a chap drink it from the bottle just in case the glass is dirty?
Can one get a good Cheddar Cheese Sarny on sliced white bread with Daddies Sauce, or Branston Pickle or a pickled onion?
If not then its not on my list of places to visit... I'm a bit of a ConnaSewer (fussy bugger) myself you know..

This discussion about Hemingway daiquiris, Baileys and gay drinks prompted me to ask a friend who knows his drinks well. This is what he told me:
"If Hemingway had seen what had been done to Daquiri's over the last 30 years - you know all that fruit and paper umbrellas - I am sure he wouldnt have allowed them to name one after him. Come to think about it maybe that is why he got the shotgun out.
Real men drink beer of course - preferably out of pint glasses. Neat spirits like whisky, tequila, voBKa (and not something like malibu) are acceptable especially if drunk straight from the bottle."
A malibu? Never had one of those. Anyone here tried them. What are they like?

Malibu is actually rum... pre-blended with coconut and usually mixed with pineapple or other juices. Probably the easiest thing to drink for non-drinkers aside from Kahlua.
Anyway, what your friend said is incorrect. *Real* men drink bleach and gasoline from plastic gallon jugs, with molotov cocktails reserved for weekends by the pool.
