was with some members of this board in orbit the other day. wasted ourselves upstairs in the members area. chicks were pretty much okay, though nothing over spectacular!
still a nice place hanging out but a bit overhyped on this board as there are other venues with similar attractions!

I have recently been to Orbit and I have to say that the girls looked incredible. It is a pretty big place, 40+ girls and 200+ (mostly local) punters. Every girl could have been a model (and I was sober, honest!)
Having said that, I got there at about midnight and so all the girls who wanted to drink with the punters were already doing so and the girls on the bar seemed to be happy just dancing. So there was zero interaction for us.
Then I went to Soi 33 at about 1.30am, and received more than sufficient attention.
My conclusion: if you are interested in taking a young Lady home, Orbit may not be the best place to go - but if you are happy admiring model-esque women, Orbit should be visited.

I have to agree with Spud on the look of Orbit's angels. They are incredibly beautiful even better than Forte's IMHO. Also like several members of the board, I have tried several times to get these angels down to earth without success.
Sometimes it made me wonder, who do these angels think they are. It never took me more than 3 months to get a good looking (sometime even more beautiful) decent girlfriend (decent means not in this line of work) but it took me forever to ask them out just for a dinner or movie. Leave alone try to get the lady home.
And just like my friend Dr. Prasert said before, If you are not the filthy rich Thais, you are better of be the foreigners to be able to score here. Seem like if you just speak English with the lady, even though they don't understand much, but it'll give you an advantage.
Anyway, we (me & Dr.Prasert and several other Thais) still go to the Orbit almost every Friday & Saturday just for the fun of ourselves. Especially this coming friday Nov 22, we'll take several friends with us just to enjoy the TGIF. It's been a while since we made fool of ourselves by getting drunk and we think it about that time again. If any of you would like to come by, we can show you how to have fun at the Orbit. Have monitors these Orbit topic for quite sometime and wish to put faces to the names. (Any interest??)
Just ask any reception up front where Mr. Mac sits and they can show you the way. We can be your translator if indeed you need one ha ha ha...
