zorchi, try asking the girls that smile and try to talk to you. they will probably be willing to join you for lunch and a movie. but the rest is up to you. i have been unsucessful, due to lack of time, to get one of these cuties into bed.
griffin, try going a different day. sometimes there are different girls. i've noticed too. that on my last trip the number of hot looking girls had declined somewhat than my first time there. but don;t know how things are nowadays. you can inform us.

Zorchi, if you're local (and Thai), there shouldn't be any problem in 'picking up.' You ARE calling ahead and reserving your particular girls, yes? 1-2 'reserve nights' with the same girl or girls and by then you should be talking to her/them outside of work as well. Most of them will ask for your number and be calling you if you aren't broadcasting"cheapskate" vibes.  Of course, I'm assuming you are "hia" or "sia" class and upwards. One doesn't necessarily have to be "filthy rich Thai." If you have a car and condo (even a cheap one), NOT your house, and enough income not to have to use credit cards or stiff people for their deserved tips/gratuity, that's really enough.
Some girls aren't "working" there, but most are. It's not terribly difficult to make girls of this class "jai tak," anyway. On top of that... just ask your receptionist or sales agent who is working. Cut to the chase. 
Further, if you are indeed Thai, I'm sure you have noticed that there are midrange 'bar girl types' mixed into the Orbit roster (both dancers AND PR). Those girls, I think just about anyone could pick up. (btw, Atypical, remember the girl you turned away before the girl I picked out for you came along?... she was one of the 'bar girl types') Those types you can outright discuss a ST and LT fee in the manner that most here would feel comfortable. Of course a better approach for those in a hurry for ANY of the girls is simply "toh gun mai?" End up at your place OR her place.... and then do the '2k Packripper slip' the next morning.
The "Inter Model" (although the "models" aren't really international OR models) party is coming up at Orbit (so I was just informed earlier this eveining over a very garbled phone call) soon. Most of the roster of girls show up for the big parties. Crowded, so definitely reserve your table OR VIP it upstairs. Just my opinion, but I don't believe VIP memberships are worth it at 'regular'/'rao' clubs like this. If I'm spending 50k on one, it's better spent at an MP on membership there.
Oi, tired today. Loy Kratong traffic really bites. Good thing I had that couple of hours at Colonze to take the edge off. That's my mini field report on that place. Upper echelon feel and pricing (1700-3300), decent rooms, and plenty of parking.

Sometimes it made me wonder, who do these angels think they are. It never took me more than 3 months to get a good looking (sometime even more beautiful) decent girlfriend (decent means not in this line of work) but it took me forever to ask them out just for a dinner or movie. Leave alone try to get the lady home.
This is completely fair, IMO; welcome to the flipside of the pay-for-play market. Many enjoy the fact that women are easily available in Thailand for only a modest fee, but you have to accept that some women are going to completely ignore you (no matter how charming and handsome we are) if you don't meet their standard for disposable income.

Chompoo, I kinda like what you said. I beleive I don't meet their standard for disposable income ha ha ha. But you can't blame them right since they are working for money as well. If they can go with the one with more money, why not.
Packripper and Supaporn, what I'm talking about wasn't the PRs who sit with us but I'm talking about the dancers who dance on the bar. I had no problem with the PRs at all except like someone mentioned before they do talk in the locker. Once you went out with one you became that one's boyfriend and make it harder to score with another one. If you insist to do so then you became "Bad Man" or "Jao Choo" ;o)
When I talked about the advantage of being the foreigner or filthy rich Thai, I referred to the angels up on the bar not the PR. I'm just the "Pi" here at the Orbit not in the "Sia" or "Hia" class yet. As the matter of fact, I saw those class usually sat with the PRs and spent no action on the dancers.
Most people that spent times tried to get under the dancers' clothes usually are the 20s-30s something. Then again the standard for disposable income of the dancers is pretty high. I always hung around right up front by the street when the club is closed, you can see what kind of car the dancers go back with.
Anyway, I probably won't go for the party since there will be too many people but I'll definitely show up on friday. My invitation's still on for all of you. Of course you have to pay for your lady's drinks but the whisky is on me ha ha ha... My membership should save you 20% on lady's drinks though.
FarangBha, I usually show up around 9:30 or 10pm. When you come just tell the reception you're here with Pi Mac and let them show you the way.
Griffin, if you can make it Dr. Prasert said he can show you that downstairs by the bar is by far better than sitting upstairs. It closes to the action mannn...

Zorchi, ah okay. I've never been with any of the dancers either. I guess it's a matter of taste and time (since of course most of your groundwork should take place outside of the club). To talk to the dancers (in the club), you'd have to VIP them upstairs, since they aren't allowed to sit downstairs (except on the bar tops). And you're right, one can't really build up 'volume' in a place like this. You can, but you have to be tactful about it (make sure to always give the girls what they deserve and make it clear that you aren't looking for a girlfriend). Everyone I know has a jao choo reputation. I wear the j.c. badge and come out and tell the girls I'm quite jao choo. They say it's okay, if "jao choo bab mai nar kliet."
jai tak = heart break (in the literal translation) BUT means to succumb/go beyond your current set of ethics or morals. In this case, if you're working in a place like this... even if you're not for sale, sometimes it's hard to resist it for long. Often used when applied to car models or Heinekin or Carlsberg (or any) beer girls who are posted at golf clubs or massage parlours.
pi = brother. Everyone is a brother (even foreigners). If you're out in a restaurant or a patron just about anywhere, you're a brother (even if your actual age is less than the service there).
hia and sia are two words of semi respect paid to the Thai Chinese (but also afforded to anyone of Chinese descent from Taiwan, HK, China, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Burma, USA, Canada, etc) who appear to be above X (variable/relative) material/wealth level. I had assumed that Zorchi was Chinese of some sort (are you? or indigenous Thai? cool either way) . In the end, hia just means brother. Sia means boss/brother (but not the same as the Chinese 'lao pan' or 'tao kae'). There's no fine line for these terms, but usually the girls (and anyone really) will sense when it is appropriate to address you by these terms. It's not really a class per se, but I can't think of a better word for it.

zorchi, i was talking about the dancers. i have had the luck to get three girls numbers, and take one of the three out to lunch and movies. i would've gotten more but girl number 1 got jealous of girl number 2, and lied to her. (look for my previous post on this matter.)
if i had more time, and not had any situations with my legit-thai-girl, i would have gotten some.
