I once tried out what my father used to tell me is the wine tasting procedure in Japan:
- I rotated the glas in big circles so the wine would swirl arround inside it, so I could check out the colour
- I smelled the wine to check out the bouquet (?! ø Hypershade, how am I doing onspelling here)
- I took a sip and roled the wine arround my tong to check it out for multiple of tastes, fruitenss, spicyness, dryness, oaktaste,
- opened my my mouth and breathed in, with my tongue at the bottom of my mouth and the wine sample above it, in order to capture the evaporation of wine molecules in rhe upper part of my nose
- I finally swalloved
MY JAPANESE COLLEAGUES THOUGHT I WAS HAVING AN EPILEPTIC..........

I think I'll pour myself a glass of whiskey. That would be a glass, with whiskey in it. I'd drink it straight from the bottle, but I'm too refined for that.
That, and I tend to backwash. Even if it's sterile, it's disgusting to see bits of food in the bottom of a bottle of Mekong.

No. Jeans and shirt will do at those places. No sneakers though.
Mezzluna is a bit pickier.
I am all for places with enforced dress code. Keeps away the Whiskey Tango.
