Gin? I don't think there are as many connoisseurs of gin around as there are people who enjoy a decent single malt whiskey on occasion. If you want some other gin besides Gilbeys or whatever crap you're likely to get in 'house drinks', Bombay Sapphire is available in most places.
I'm sorry if all that answer does is reveal the extent of my ignorance of gin.

Quite alright. I normally find myself in ignorant bliss due to Bombay Saphire. Just wondered whether there was something better that I was missing

That's become recently our liquor of choice for late night crashtesting in Paris.
Very efficient, but true I don't know many different kinds of gin either!
