I'm beginning to wonder along the lines of the fat one's reasoning. Perhaps in LOS the line between 'good girl' in FL is an ambiguous one at best.

one of the main differences between a "good girl" and "FL" is the clothes they wear. as told by my non-legit-thai-girlfreind. if their shirts/blouse have no sleeves, they are most likely to be a "FL". and also if they touch you when you talk, they most likely are a "FL".
any opinions?

Here we have a forum full of professional whore mongers me included trying to make themselves out as good guys seeking good girls. What Bullshit, the Q-Bar started off
just as Bed is, full of western minded Thai girls from middle/high class families intersted to mix with like minded western ferangs and local thais...........after
a few months the hookers move in along with the boys and the majority of the legite Thais move on to other pastures not wanting to be tarred with the same brush.Simple as that if any of you guys want legite relationships
and all that goes with it better forget about spreading your wild oats around town free or otherwise. Get real.

In my opinion it is difficult to hit a non FL TG at any pub. Things are easier when a friend of her introduce you to her group. Then you can have a chance to score although the approach might be a long one. Thai stuff....
If you talk to a TG in a pub/disco and you could easily get inside her group you just got a GREAT opportunity to score!! Sometimes money is involved/requested and sometimes not.....have fun!

the last time i got introduced to a thai group of girls in a disco (CM2), their first line to me was "my friend and i thought you were gay". Only been there a few times, but on two of those recently I have left with very nice 'good' non-working TG's. Or so I thought... both were very up-market, but both turned out to be married (one to an absent farang... sorry about that.. didn't know until too late!) but both were simply out to get laid.
Seems there are plenty of discreet pay-as-you-go places in bk that cater for these wayward wives, but some also 'hunt the hunters' in places like Q. To be truthful, the farang's missus did want some cash for a visit to a casino, but the other was just out for a good time.
They all do... just that some are a bit more expensive than others!

RE: CM2 I would say that 99% of the girls (or more) are working. Not the best place for GTG's. Even Q-bar these days seems more full of FL girls that you might have thought...
As far as distinguishing between a GTG and a FL, if you are in a place where it isn't obvious (don't tell me Grace or CM2) then you just don't bring up the money thing. You just pick her up like you would any girl back home and let things take their course. You'll find out pretty quick if she's freelancing. She them some respect and you'll be surprised what you'll get back...

As long as you're vaguely aware of the situation in these places, you'll be fine. There really is no risk of you happening to fall into bed with a "good" girl. A real Thai good girl is probably not going to be in the place, will almost definitely not come up to you or easily encourage your advances, and certainly will not sleep with you the first night.
So, treat every girl with respect and act as if she is not a hooker. If she brings up money at some point, you know the score and can pay her an appropriate sum for her time. If she doesn't, then you should either offer her something of value in as innocuous a way as you can (maybe you slip some cash in her purse, or maybe you offer to buy her a present, it's up to you). The risk of you seriously insulting a girl by slipping 2000 or 3000B into their purse is pretty low (unless you were promising to marry her 3 minutes earlier, of course).
Taking a girl home from a place like this and not being prepared to giver her some compensation, is either being intentionally dim-witted or cheap, IMO.
