just another die-hard fan of Orbit here.
after almost a month-long absence, i went there on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. good times, good times....
first thing i noticed on my frist night back was they're not hiring female bartenders anymore. man, that blows a big pecker because i can no longer flirt with those cute little girls. what i like the most about them is that they're so sweet and not as demanding as some dancers, whose first thing that came out of their mouth when they see me is "can i have 3 shots of Tequilas?"
there are a couple of bartender-turn-dancers, though, that i think was a very nice move on Orbit's and the dancers' part. nong Di and nong Beer has the body to die for, in my opinion of course. and Di sure knows how to shake what her mama gave her.
oh.. and the Angie show on Wednesday nights... that was nice, too. her tits and ass look very tight..and real
i hooked up with this one PR girl who's very professional, meaning she's very very naughty. we were pretty much making out right there at the sofa. actually that was kind of a bad move for me because other PR's and dancers are giving me the "you are such a man whore" look.
and as far as running tab's concern, that should only apply to the PR chicks, not the dancers. you get charged 300 baht for every half-hour(or forty minutes, I'm not sure) a PR sits with you even if she only drinks your booze. if you buy her a cocktail, an orange juice, a shot of voBKa, etc.. that's when you'll get double charged.
oh yeah, i ran in to two Orbit dancers, Snow and Opal, at Siam square the other day. Snow was the cover girl of ForMen magazine november2002 issue. i was surprised by her actual height because i thought she'd be much taller. still, i think they're very nice girls.

Been in LOS for a month now and trying to get my feet wet with the options available here slowly. Decided to hit Orbit by myself on Sunday night and was blown away by the quality of the girls there. I have found a new home...hahaha. A couple of my friends are coming from NYC to visit soon, and I'm lining up a list of places to take them. Maybe (or rather not...) I 'm missing something, but I've visited the place two days ago - and found it just ridiculous and pathetic.
Coming into Orbit, it turns out to be rather dark, and looks and feels like a larger disco, not unlike MoS. Orbit DJs play the usual monotone techno music with ear-splitting volume - but you cannot dance!
There are some girls constantly dancing on top of the 8-shaped bar, some of them quite nice looking - but all of them fully clothed!
So, your only option as Orbit guest is to watch the dancing girls (not very erotic), or listen to rather dumb ear-splitting music and consume overpriced drinks... anything else?
Oh yes, you can pay some of the other girls around some drinks so that they will sit down and talk to you.... if you can actually manage to understand anything in the blaring noise.
WTF??? Give me a break! This must be the most pathetic and useless club in BKK, designed mainly for a local clientele to show off their shining Mercs and BMWs in the parking lot. For me, hopefully the day I have to actually _pay_ a girl for just talking to me will never ever come!
Just avoid this place. If you are looking for:
- Erotic performances: Watch rather the show in AW.
- A decent club with good dance music:
Go visit Q-Bar, CM2, MoS, Riva's etc.
- Watch and talk to stunning beauties:
Visit any of the places mentioned above or in Soi 33
or just cruise through Emporium.

sure orbit is mainly for the local guys and can be considered as a show off place! the locals there mainly hanging around with friends, quite often after a mp session (so are pleased already) or with clients.
sure those places are not so much designed to farang tastes, hence only a little of them.
nevertheless if one does look for a change and likes to have soem local flavour orbit and forte are nice joints to hang out at!

Key word ( fully clothed ) I also noticed it as well, don't get me wrong, the girls looked great. I've always pictured Orbit with girls in tight outfits going crazy on stage but wasn't the case.
Good place to hang out with the guys & get silly drunk while looking at some babes but the only drinks I'll be buying is for the bro's & for myself peace.
