Greetings:
I like Orbit and the fact that the females are clothed. I think it definitely leave more to the imagination. And, the fact that they look good and dance well is key!! I mean if they were ugly and clothed I'd probably not go there!! ha ha ha ha!! I enjoy Orbit much more then watching many of the go go females on stage who can't dance and aren't very good looking in the first place.
It's a good stop for a change of pace. U go there with a couple of buddies to check out some hot bodies cuttin' lose and then when you want to get your rocks off, you go to an MP or G-Club.
As stated before, this club is not a place to go and try to pick up a female. It's possible, but this is more a Thai local place.
But to each his own. Different stroke for diferent folks!! ha ha ha!!

Of course everyone has the intention for hanky panky stuff.
But it is just a matter of managing your expectations and not be frustrated because the girls do not jump so easily and so fast for just loads of money.
As I said "expectations management" and remember that sometimes you need something more besides the charm of your wallet. One thing I like of these clubs is that it filters out the guys who can not walk around without thinking that anything that moves is something to be bought on the spot.

Again, I agree, it's a great place to hang with bro's & get loaded.
True, the expectation I had was little off or maybe I happen to walk in on a wrong night but the impression I got was this place was all about MONEY !! ( IMO )
Not everyone has money to burn, IMO it's best to hit these girls outside of there work place ( ESCUDO ? )
One thing about these Orbit girls though, they are definitely my type

or just cruise through Emporium.
Comparing Angel Witch to Orbit is like comparing a Chevy to a Porsche. People have different tastes, and for me the best girls found in the gogos are barely shaggable, whereas the top girls in Orbit, Piano, et al are beautiful and can carry on a decent conversation (in Thai).
I'm not a soi 33 fan. The idea appeals to me but when I've been there (Dali, Monet, Renoir, etc) I've found gogo-quality girls in cocktail outfits.
Sure, you can see similar girls in Emporium but that's the point, isn't it- what will your chances really be with a very attractive hiso girl in Emporium?
Hence that's the point with Orbit. You go there with a friend or client to look at beautiful girls in a non-sleazy environment. Are the girls shaggable? As Smegma said, manage your expectations. But the answer is definitely yes, if you try hard enough.
As for paying the girls to talk to you- I only once ever sat with a PR girl and probably would only do it again if I was with a customer and wanted to sit upstairs. For me it's more fun talking to the dancers as they circulate around. A couple of friends of mine got the phone numbers of dancers without having bought them a single drink. How? By being fun for the girls to talk to.

Sorry, I still don't see the point. I've been visiting dance/music clubs for over 20 years now, and remember umpteen places which much better and more attractive dancers. In most better clubs even the girls on the regular dance floor are more pleasing to look at..

Yes, there were 1 or 2 stunners among the dancers in Orbit, but the majority was just plain. And the fact that they have to balance their steps on a very narrow bar counter between glasses and ashtrays doesn't help the dancing at all - so most of them were just wiggling up and down for hours. I got bored watching this after five minutes.
Orbit might a suitable place if you are a local and have to entertain clients and business partners after work, and you know that you cannot take them to more "sleazier" places. And that was exactly was the majority of the guests looked like - middle aged Thai business men, and most of them seemed to be annoyed by the ear-splitting techno sound.
Not exactly the kind of crowd I prefer to hang out with in dance clubs - at least not if it's not absolutely necessary.

This is obviously the crux of our disagreement. I just don't think most of the short, dark-skinned, flat-nosed, uneducated, chunky Isaan types are too attractive. I go to AW too and have pulled a couple of the best-looking chicks from there, but in my opinion these girls are just above average and usually pretty bad in the sack. Most of the girls working in Nana, Cowboy, and Patpong look like they came off the fields and/or would otherwise be working as maids in an office building. Combined with their bad manners, gutter mouths and the knowledge that they shag fat unappealing farang every night makes them (in my opinion, of course) NOT appealing.
There's a reason that the girls from Orbit, Forte, Pent Club, and similar places are seen in Penthouse, FHM, and Playboy whereas the girls from the farang areas are only seen on online porn pages being shagged by bald condomless guys named Nigel.
If I could find a gogo with the quality of girls in the dancer clubs I'd be there every single night with fistfuls of baht in-hand.

What is an AW show?? If it's a show that has females that look like they work at a Go Go then there is no way these females look better the ones at Orbit, Forte, Piano, ect. That's like saying a sideliine model at Mirage, Poseidon, Emmanuelle looks no different then a female found at Graces after 2am.

Right, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder!
To most farangs like me, the dark skinned variety of girls ist just more attractive and interesting than the fair-skinned Thai-Chinese girls. Mind you, I can find a lot of beautiful fair-skinned girls from France, Italy, Russia etc. in my home country, and any Orbit girl will pale in comparison to them. Beside of that, majority of Orbit girls at that evening were really far away from Penthouse qualities.
Let me guess, are you guys (ABC and Crash999) Thais or Asians? This would surely explain your preference for fair-skinned and taller girls, and I can also smell a bit of the typical BKK Thai-Chinese haughtiness towards Isan girls here.
Beside, the couple of AW stunners I'm thinking about are really not at all "chunky and flat-nosed". But I agree that there way too many ugly dogs in the lesser Gogos - that's the reason why I only visit rather few bars.
Regarding your statement about "bad manners, gutter mouths and the knowledge that they shag fat unappealing farang every night " - yep, that's right, you hit the nail on the head!
That's another reason why I rarely speak to Gogo girls let alone barfine them. By the end of the day they really are uneducated and rather boring low-lifes, at least outside of the bedroom... but some of them are very nice to look at.

guy guys. there is no point in comparing go-gos and the likes of forte and orbit. they are two complete different things. so different that it doesnt make sense to have the discussion as to why one should like one vis a vis the other.
we can discuss what we like about each kind of place. but pitting one against the other doesn't make much sense.
