I think they are open to anyone with 100,000 that is willing to spend more. I went into one with some japanese and thai friends and everyone seemed pretty receptive. As soon as you ask about a membership and concomitant client entertainment they love you.
As for Monk's friends, well who needs a club then? Just do like the japanese and pick a girl and give her a car.

INDEED!! You can even get Miss Thailand for the right price. There are "beauty queen" and "actress" markets too. I was surprised to learn it went this high. Similar stuff goes on in Japan.

I'm not offended, really, just curious. First time I came to BKK, I was hanging out at Patpong and Nana. From there I've moved to Piano, Forte etc. I was just wondering if there is something a little higher, and more subtle or exclusive.........but maybe you're right, if they wanted mr to know, i would have known already......sigh!

That's really just a joke. Of course, if you're willing to spend 20 to 50K a night and are respectable, these clubs do want you to know as they do want your business (I'm not talking about the exclusive Thai only clubs, just high end member clubs that are more open). Unfortunately there isn't a great way for them to advertise themselves to you (that I know of) without attracting unwanted attention. The best way to keep their club upscale and discreet is by word of mouth.
