Well I think Thong lor is best avoided Saturday night - simply too busy.
Escudos is the trendiest hang out there at the moment. Booze is still doing good business.
Santika (Ekamai) is great any day during the week.

Have not been back to booze since the renovation.
Paid a visit last night with gf and friends. The place is not much different from before the renovation, The sofa outside is gone, and the tall table inside is replace by the coffee table and leather square seat. The music is (like everyone else) change to hip hop and thai band. The place is pretty packed for a sunday night. I guess Zantika and Slim did not take that much business away from them. Overall all, a nice place to relax in.
