Although it is my strong belief that the bartenders tend to be easy to talk to and therefore if u were to want to go for the moon, so to speak it wouldn't be impossible with them. But the dancers...... for one thing have to keep that angelic, out of reach type of image for the sake of the their job and also for protection of themselves as well... so I would say unless ur filthy rich, patient and REALLY REALLY in love with one of them.... just sit around enjoy the view and have fun

Yes, I was indeed referring to the bartenders in the pit (which is what I call the area enclosed by the big bar downstairs).
The info provided basically jibed with my expectations. I expected they would be dateable, but much like any other non-pro in Thailand, expecting a longer term relationship (not necessarily permanent, but at least several dates with possibilities of GF status). I wouldn't expect to jump in bed with them the first night after showering them with money.

If you knew me and you knew all the bartenders, then you would have a point. But a random farang marrying a bartender wouldn't give you any conclusive evidence.
Plus at that point it wouldn't bother me. I just don't want to have to tell her that I was set up with her by a bunch of sex freaks from the internet

Well, for me this (and all girls in Thailand) are just a pleasant diversion and somewhat of a game. I have no intent to seriously date anyone at Orbit let alone marry, but I love flirting with them (especially the bartenders who appreciate it more than the rest).

Been at ORBIT yesterday night. We were using BK's bottle card to get in without paying the B/.600 fee per person on Monday. We were there together with few members of this forum seeking for good looking experiences. The place got a crowd of Thai rich guys, as we could infered from the fancy cars at the parking lot. Maybe daddy's car? Who knows? Not many farangs though.
The girls provided by the "mamasan" (just to give this person a name) were nice and we got a nice table close to the irregular-shapped bar, giving the back to the stage where the band is located. Nice position to see the TGs going from here to there. The bar tenders were nice but few of the dancers were much better....In fact, two of them really could be nice girlfriends....ejem!
Lady-drinks were b/.300. Special spirits were B/.600.
My appraisal of the TGs working at ORBIT is that they respond to the typical features requested by the taste of Thai men. TGs with white skin, slim, small breast and buttocks, long black hair, beautiful eyes and nice attitude above others....if you are into this. ORBIT is your place to hang out. A bit pricey though....
The advise might be to open a bottle just as soon as you step in. Forgot how much was the black label in there and for how long you can keep the bottle....darn!!!!
We got a nice time. All the four TGs delivered to us were nice and good in attitude. They get you f_cking horny in few minutes dancing darn close to your body and if you would like to take them out you have to pay the value of 10 drinks (3K). However, I think just few of them will go into SEX but, anything will depend on how good is your approach. Their English was fair but enough for the aim of fun!!!!
The hostesses are getting paid 10K per month. Dunno about the cute girls dancing on the bar. From any drink you invite to any hostess they get B/.160....one funny thing is that the "dancers" are moving throughout all the bar, since you can order a drink with the name of the girl you like and then you get the TG dancing in front of you one song....hilarious.
Chrisboy got his new 20K membership card. Hope he will not forget about the friends during his next time in town....je!

What, if anything, do you tip the guys who mix your drinks if you're sitting at a table? Do you just leave a few baht when paying the bill or do you tip them directly (and how much in either case)? Does anyone other than me tip the guy in the bathroom?
Since this is a mostly Thai place, I'd rather not come off as being an asshole to other customers by tipping like a farang.
(When at the bar, I tip the cute bartenders directly and I don't care what other people say!)
