@Pegasus1: you must have visited Narcissus too early or during the week where it is indeed quite empty as far as I can remember.
Anyway, I was there for New year's eve 2008 and the whole place was packed, including the open air area that was installed for the occasion. I can remember a cool crowd of middle/high class thais, without too many farangs and also above the level of usual thai discos like Hollywood.
One negative point for me though is that the sound level is way too loud (like many thai venues).

I have also been there between Christmas & New Year; and YES! the place was rocking. But I believe those were special 'promotion' nights. Otherwise I have been there numerous times and it was quite lacking.
Years back I attended the opening of a new disco (I honestly forget the name). They had a former Miss Thailand sing; and many other movers and shakers were there. The next night; there was a drug raid. They closed all the exits except one -- and made everyone and I mean everyone pee into a cup/container testing for drugs.
The next day I read in the paper, that they "DETAINED' 200 people. Try that in America! The A C L U would have a field day. Anyway I don't know why I am telling this now; only because the club mentioned ; looked like Narcisus.
