Thanks, but may I know has Club Orbit closed yet?

Orbit has not closed yet and here is the scoop that I know.....
The majority owner took on yet another shareholder who has many contacts with Japanese travellers. He convinced the owner to totally change the format of Orbit. Needless to say, the other shareholders are pissed.
They are going to put a full service restaurant in the front where the current parking lot is. They are going to add a bunch of karaoke rooms and go for the KTV approach. They will close at the end of the year fro the renovations.
The sad thing is that for the past three years I have enjoyed this place and have many fond memories. I will not go back after the renovations take place because that is not my thing.
We should schedule a final party there and consume everyone's mebership. I am currentl in the States for just one week and will be back.

I will be in BKK from Nov. 27th on. I am pissed too as a good standing Orbit member. Let's all go in there and have a wild party for one last hurrah !

as a long Orbit fan myself I kinda curious how will they change the place... meanwhile, which other club comes close to the concept of Orbit....

I would suggest Carribean, Forte and the Resort. I was in Resort last night and had a great time. My girl is out of town and I had a good romp with one of the dancers from Resort last night.
Carribean can suck on the weekends as it gets very packed. Resort and Forte are both solid on Friday and Saturday nights.

thanx for the tip - checked out Carribean on Thursday and Saturday - you're right – is quite ok that place with some girls from orbit around and new ones. Many pax but crowd was ok though…
will check those other places next time…
