I never sit a t a table when I'm at Orbit. I kinda like have my favourite place at the bar. But I usually tip the bartenders (male) 100 THB, plus the rest of the change from my bill. The tip for the male bartenders goes into a pot, which gets divided up among them all at the end of the evening. There are a few of the male bartenders which me and my friends know quite well and if we are wasted beyond recognition we also do tip them separately, outside of the bar though.
The female bartenders on the other hand get to keep their tips. I tip them 100 THB on various occasions. Some of them don't want any money from me...maybe because they know I'm broke (hahaha) or because I frequent this place already too often. I usually say that it's for their ride home.
If memory servers me right I think I used to sit at a table once or twice with a couple of other friends and I tipped the usual 100 THB + change. Don't know if they've got a pot there too.
You are not the only one tipping the dude in the bathroom. I usually tip 100 THB...for the whole nite though. I guess that covers the same amount as tipping 20 THB every time you go.

I ususally tip 20 baht whenever I go to the bathroom. You are not the only one who is tipping. Many of Orbit's customers are wealthy Thai people, so some of them tip far more than farang.
I once saw a middle-age Thai business man slip a 1000 baht to the restroom attentant after receiving a 20 sec. shoulder massage.

NO. I don't use the service as many other Thai guys. Never seen customers tipping these guys. At least, not the times I've been at the bathroom.
Everybody was happy with that. Even some of the girls were giving us few calls to encourage an appointment either at ORBIT or outside before 7pm....

Wealth is not always a great indicator of tipping generosity, as I'm sure you know. Some wealthy people tip just to show off, although some do out of kindness. And of course, many wealthy people insist on tipping the "proper" amount (I've received a few looks from wealthy Thais when overtipping or not insisting on change from a Taxi).
A lot of guys refuse to tip the bathroom guys (not just at Orbit) because they think the guy is just a leech. I only tip people that actually offer some service to me, I typically don't tip someone for doing something I could have easily done myself. The bathroom guys are borderline as I've already mastered the art of washing my hands on my own; but if they're friendly and they keep the place neat I tip them now and then (usually a 20, sometimes a 50 will count for a few trips). If I thought everyone was tipping that much, I would tip less often; I don't think that guy deserves to be making 1000B an hour when the girls make 100B.
Now the one time the restroom attendant started massaging me I was not happy (I think that might have been in Patpong long ago). The next step after that I suppose is having him shake and dab my pecker for me?

Kinda off the topic, but for all the newbies that are going to Orbit .... enjoy the bathroom!! ha ha ha ha!! The first time I went I was not sure where to pee, since it looked like many flower pots in a row!! ha ha ha ha!!
As for tip, i might tip 20 baht .... if i have that change on me. But ... if he massages me ... then ZERO and i let him know not to do that again ...... espcially while i am giong my thing!!! ha ha ha ha!!
Sales female: 500 baht to 1,000 at the end of the night for everyone. Meaning, if I'm in a group of 6 guys, the total amount tipped does not exclude 1,000.
Dancers: 100 - 500 baht total. So .. if she dances one or two songs infront of me, then 100 baht. If she come back later on, I usually will not tip her again. It's the one shot thing. If the firs time she spends a long time with me and does not pressure me to buy drinks and dancers well and is super-attentive, then possibly 500 baht max.

Tipping is I think a personal preference type of thing, for me I do the following:
Sales: no tip usually we (Dr. and Co. ) buy them drinks instead and even then it is only 1-2 drinks
PR: zero since we don't ask for anyone anymore the Dr. and others used to have regular PR gals, I never did.
Bartendees/Bartenders : occasionally 100 THB to some of them whom we know very well, which mean they not only take care of the drinks but they sometime give us special drinks.....ie FREE drinks 
Dancers: 100-500 THB at a time sometimes once sometimes several times a night depending on several factors, which include: mood, bank account and special occasions, which is like, Yaak Hai (want to give) occasions!!! 
Bathroom guys: Occasionally 20THB mainly for all the candies I take 
Pinga: I still would like to know which drinks cost 600 THB????

I was at Orbit last sunday, which is a slow day for Orbit, a really, really slow day. Typical 600 bath entry free and the girls there looked OK. Club Twenty is much better IMO. The girls at Club 20 are so much finer and it's no surprise that about 40 percent of the Orbit gals come from Club 20.
Got bored, headed to Club Twenty and it had much more of a crowd and the girls looked a lot better.
I've just been skimming through the posts and here are my thoughts on some of the items that have been discussed.
If you're paying the gals to go out with them you are trying too hard and are in for it... One drink and an exchange for phone numbers is all it takes if they're really into you. Otherwise, if you got to pay for it, go get a professional, don't lie to yourself and buy a gal to try to fool yourself into thinking you've got game...
Next, the metal detectors are at many clubs. La Lunar and Club 20 just to name a few.
Tipping the bathroom guys 20 bath per night is plenty. Tip the first time, then come back and you don't have to tip. The ones that massage/annoy you when you are taking a piss, tell them to leave you alone or go hit a stall and close it... Nothing's worse than trying to piss and having some idiot thinking he's doing you a service.
