G-Club dancers may be slipping a bit in terms of the quality of the "old days" but there are still no other venues in BKK where there is such a concentration of talent. I was at the Pent last night (which I recently joined) and 60-70% of the girls turned my head. Getting a membership seems to help as well, since the girls know you'll be coming back to the club.
And I can walk to the Pent which is a hell of a lot easier than Caribbean which I still don't know how to give directions to since there are no real landmarks around there.

If you like Pent, then you should go to china, where a KTV club can have over 1000 dancer and PR and with even better quality as compare to g club in bkk.

Went to the caribbean a few times this past week. Still have the most number of PR and dancers. The show still is pretty gaudy and boring however as RTB say, it is the THE candy store in bangkok.

Any recommendations for KTVs in China? Skimmed through the China thread but not much useful info. I'm planning a trip soon and plan to have a blowout, money-no-object few days. Chances are I won't be back again for a while so need to make the most of it!

Well, the best KTV in beijing is "Passion" at Sheraton Great Wall Hotel. and in Shanghai is the Heaven on earth club. (this is their chinese name, not sure about the english name). As far as budget is concern, In passion the min spending is about 5000 Rmb per room not including lady charge, usually about 20k- 30K will be good for a group of four.

Thanks, are the China KTVs similar to G-clubs in Bangkok or is FS on offer as standard? Sounds like it could be very pricey to visit one of these places alone.

anything goes in the room as long as cash flows.
It's not just pricey to go alone, it's boring too.

Most of G club FS is offered. As far as price is concern, you can get 100 Rmb to 50000 Rmb for ST depend how much u willing to fork over

OK, I think I'll book myself into Sheraton Great wall sometime in October, will report my findings. This is my first trip to China and I'm interested to see how things work- I may have the possiblity of working there and a year or 2 out of Thailand's not a bad prospect right now. I've been to Hong Kong a couple of times and checked out both massage and KTVs and found I'm rather partial to the Chinese girls. Bangkok's great but after 7 years this would make a nice change!
