Further to the discussion started on the Q bar topic - just as a point of interest, there are obviously forum Guys who either fancy their chances, or in fact are really good at picking up young, straight TGs .... and yes, those girls are out and about, although of course not in the farang dominated places - Anyway I regularly go past 3 clubs / bars, two fairly average prices/style, one a little more upmarket, these are packed nightly with young Thais, and ESPECIALLY friday and Sat. Now although I would have fancied my chances 10 years ago - I am smart enough to realise that these days my chance of pulling a girl from this area, would be 100/1 and I also think it would be very difficult for most farangs, however.. I would like to be proven wrong. The bars are easy to find, take skytrain to Victory monument, exit at the rear, left hand side [ comming from siam] and walk back down the raod 50 meters to Soi Rangnam / Phyathai Rd cnr, one side of the road has food carts, the bars are opposite, the more trendy one is on the corner,the other two beside it. As stated, especially on a friday, from 9-10pm onwards there are plenty of young, good looking, genuine Thai student girls there ..... oh, almost forgot to add, also ALOT of young Thai guys !! - will bow in reverence to the first forum member who can pluck one from this locale !!!

No need to bow, but been there and done that. Three nice places you mention, cheap too. Girls aren't sweet angels though, and they cant easily be picked up on site because of the Thai Guy factor, but contact can be made, ph. numbers exchanged.
Cayote (as in the movie, but no dancing), is the name of the middle place; they like their music load. Go there early if you like soccer; if not go late and best of luck finding a table.

Any up to date info on those clubs?
I've always had the impression that in any place patronised by Thais your chances to pull a juicy bird were slim as local girls would not feel confortable to be seen chatting up farangs in front of their peers.

Go with some Thai guys and you won't have a problem. Always alot easier to do it that way. Plenty of educated,monied Thai guys that like to hang out with farangs.

f_ck guys, just go and try it. I have never had a problem with Thai girls or guys at any of these types of places. Most wealthy, educated and up market Thais have no problems with foreigners and quite enjoy broadening their horizons.
If you stick to the P4P places you will encounter all the P4P attitides. Go and try nice places and DRESS WELL. If you look like a sex tourist you you be treated that way.
