14 days to paradise. I used tfse and didn't see any so I'll ask the pros. Any bars or nightclubs that specialize or have a decent mix of classic to modern rock? Obviously I'm not headed to LOS for the music but would like to enjoy some decent tunes while I'm trolling.

Anyway, there are a number of clubs that have barely decent live rock music (Witch's Tavern, Brown Sugar, some metal place on Lang Suan), but the girl watching is confined to other customers.
There's Woodstock on the middle floor of Nana Plaza that has a classic rock mix but no BG.
Has anyone been to Paradise City near the Rajah Hotel on Suk Soi 4? For a bar named after a Guns N' Roses song I believe they would play rock, but I probably read that on Stickman and I can't vouch personally.

Paradise city is a no go area. Very dull at its best. Tonite at Suzy wong they were playing the regular Playskool classics. And I love real Rock music!! (see the capital R!)

The Morning bar just outside of NEP plays decent rock, especially classic rock. Just buy the dj a couple of drinks and he'll definitely hook you right up. He definitely helped me get my Led Zep fix when I was there.

I have seen this bar called everything but it's right name. It sounds funny but the correct name of this bar is called Morning Night Bar. It is not The Morning night bar, it is not morning and night bar. I don't know why I am so anal about this but Morning Night Bar is the correct name. Please use it.

I always liked the Saxophone Club for great live music... if you're wanting music by itself... probably not the ideal place to find your BG though

There's small go go bar in Soi Cowboy called Five Star which has a band that plays classic rock. It's an odd bar with a live band and a small stage with some go go girls dancing. But I think it's a fun bar nonetheless. The band sounds better after a few beers!
