Did anybody ever go to The Resort? I have heard it many times from my Thais friend. But dunno exactly the way go there, members price, girls quality, kind of services (Karaoke, Live Music etc). But my Thais friend told me that it's by far now the number one in BKK. Beat up Piano in beautiful girls and facilities. Maybe it prepared for competition with Exotica.

Well, it has been open a while - not so many white people that I seen there when I went b4.
That said, it isn't as good as Caribean or Forte or Orbit was anyway, the girls aren't quite as cute, there is a more Thai "feel" to the place with fewer english speaking staff I think, the band isn't as good; etc etc. Concept wise it is closer to those than Piano or Monroe type places.
I'd suggest leaving this one to the locals.

I remember a old thread which discuss about Resort, but I can not find it in the main forum.
Anyway, Resort is located at Ratchada soi 11, It is open for about a year and half. The pricing is similar to other G club, The basic membership start at 20K. They have promotion often so the price for whisky differ as when you buy your membership.
The set up is nice with a bandstand/runway on the main floor with couch and seating surrounding it. Upstair is the KTV room. The decor is at piano level. It is definitely a step down from Exotica and Pegasus. Concept wise is closer to Piano rather than Carribean or Old Orbit. It is more PR oriented.
As far as quality of the girl, it is pretty good, but the number of girl is less than carribean, The quality is also not as good as Exotica or old Orbit.
Overall, I like Resort, it is another place to go but I would not rate it as number one in bkk.

Actually, it is on Soi 13. Resort is OK with some quality dancers. Agreed it is much more PR oriented than clubs like Forte and Carribean. They typically have two bands every night with the first one being just OK but the second is pretty good.
The dancers here are much more into grinding on you than any of the other forementioned clubs. This can be a plus.
I OFFER A WARNING.......I have been to Resort many times and have had a problem with my bill every single time. They try to rip you off at any possible chance. Be careful and look at your bill closely.

Taught English to their staff for about 6 months... it was alot of fun a couple hours before they opened each fri & sat evening.
Nice place, but pricy unless u get a membership... 20k for 10 bottles of chivas.
With membership, mixers are free even after 10 bottles are gone, which makes it cheaper than most other places.
Lady drinks 280b I think, have to buy two in the first round for girl to sit 1//2 hour. must buy her 1 drink every 1/2 hour after that.
10 drinks and she is off the clock for the night... free to leave with you but anything that happens beyond leaving is between you two. No "service" is included.
Very nice inside, comfortable environment, good music, not too loud.

I am a member of the Resort club, the previous reports are about right. Membership is 20K which provides usual 10 bottle of Black Label but mixer is NOT free, this can work out quite expensive on a big session.
Girls fall into 2 categories;
PR girls that are happy to sit and talk all night (as long as the drinks keep coming). Some speak English ok but bear in mind that few farang come here. Many girls are students. SOME of these girls will come out to play but if you want this negoiate with the girl discretely and not via the mamasan.
Dancing girls, most are very cute and fit, they can put on quite a sexy show when in the mood. These would be very difficult to get outside unless you have any Thai connection with the club.
The Resort is a high class club, and worth a visit if you're in the area. Enjoy the show, don't expect too much, but WATCH that bill.
Depending on what you're after, there's better value to be had. For venue of this type, I much prefer Caribbean club - more girls, mixer free, better management. Hope this helps.

Friend took me to Resort a couple of times. Dancers tend to be more voluptuous here and dance more seductively but are very quick to leave once the drinks are gone...quicker than say Carribean, Monroe, Orbit, Pent. But I must give them credit...they are very good at getting drinks out of you...my policy is never to buy dancers drinks but one of them managed a couple of drinks out of me one night...must be an off nite for me. They have a good number of PR girls but the quality is lacking in my opinion. You'll have to depend on the mamasan to bring you quality. The only positive thing for me about this club is the "grind" sessions. This is the only place where I found the girls enjoy giving dry humps to tease the clients. Enjoyable once in a while but the price at end of the nite is always much higher than any other clubs. So be warned. Enjoy.

Haven't been here yet but there seems to have been a migration of ex-Orbit and Caribbean gals to Resort. Word from the gals is the popularity of dancer bars is overall not so great these days. Wonder what's taking away the business?
