Last night, under the always shady influence of AmorresPerros, I ventured into consuming 2 units of this tasteful, turquoise liquid. Now, Q bar is known for its strong drinks, but this one is just relentless dynamite. I don’t know what they put inside, but I don’t think actual ice-tea is a big part of it. Mixing it with Absinthe shots was another of his great ideas that evening. Anyway, next time you are Q, ask for a Caribbean Ice tea.

If you remember this from the old days: Something for your mind your body, and your soul. It's the power to arouse curiosity. The purpose, the goal which one acts on. A journey of force hot like the sun, and wet like the rain. Rhythmatic movements in unison with others prolong an act of sensation with no limits or boundaries. Eternity is past, wrong is right. It's the point of greatest intensity. Pleasures of the highest sense feeling of warmth and security. Willing and unwilling sensations of the mind. A condition: the ultimate seduction. …you would have felt right at home at Q bar last night. Just to keep up good habits, AmoresPerros and myself wolfed into some Caribbean ice teas as soon as were set foot in the place - with the to be expected consequences. The music was simply awesome: funky house leaning towards the darker side, with excellent remixes of classics like “Missing” from Everything but the Girl, Depeche Mode’s “A question of time” and candi staton's you got the love. The fact that the amount of talent was a tad below the usual standards couldn’t spoil the mood as we were well hammered by the time our coach changed in a pumpkin. Quite exceptionally, there was actually place to move and even venture into some dancing. The absinthe shots did the trick again and the 3rd Caribbean at the second floor bar has the potency of a herd of rampaging elephants. Dazed and confused we stumbled in some broad’s car and were taken to the notorious Lucifer at Patpong. Jesus, suffer and f***! This is what I am talking about! For those who have not been there: the place looks like a demonic cave (with stalagmites and all), it is pitch dark and the music is ravishing: hard trance with the occasional breather of angelic voices. My kind of place. Except for that f***ING closing hour, of course. Where I come from a place like this would be open till 10am. At least. After Lucifer we moved on to an undisclosed location for some well deserved delicacies. Thank god the Valium was present when I finally staggered through my door.
