checked out JET bar recently moved and newly opened across from Sherbet / Curve. place was packed with good mix of young Thais.
Setup could be better, I think there is room (3 to be exact) for improvement. 1 live band (with hiphop sets between), 1 dance, and 1 lounge (with bookstore? on 2nd floor) good size patio in the middle with lounge chairs.
prices a bit steep for the area, 2100 baht for JW black (750ml) but Ballatines is 900b. parking the in the future is going to be a bitch, with Sherbet and Curve already causing a jam - along with Nanglen further up.
it was only the second night.
also saw a new spot next to Alcove 10 called Bam Blue or something like that, looked to be packed out as well

This is the hot spot now. The JW Black is expensive cuz it's not a JW place and it's not even on the menu, Ballantines 12 years is 1500B I think, whatever the midgrade stuff is. I got a table near the bar and it was an absolute refrigerator where we were sitting, the ice didn't even melt. Bathrooms are huge and clean. There is a 2nd floor with some cabana type furniture and a pool table. I didn't check out the room next door.

well actually when it opened in May, they sold JW. it was changed to Ballatines and Chivas because they gave 30 MIL for sponsorship money.
MUSE (off Ekkamai Soi 5) also got about 45 MIL.
A/C is cold? try going on Friday and Sat. or rather try getting inside on the live band side,

This is the in hi-so place at the moment.
Alot of older adults and lounge girls go there at the moment, besides Zantika.
I advise, to go there on normal days, then go to scratch dog (if u still have the energy)..Avoid weekends, since it gets waaaaaay too packed..
Curve is more of high school students.

Good lord Jet Bar was packed on Thursday for the Groove Rider and Tattoo Color concert. It literally took 20 minutes to walk downstairs and out the front door. All you could do was push and shove.

I saw this place taking Thonglor Soi 10 to Ekkamai to go to Nang Len. Best way there would be just take Thonglor Soi 10 to Ekkamai and it's the tall building to the left. It looks really nice and lots of people were going there. Any reviews of it yet? I might try it tonight...
