Each time I come back from Snooky I have a hard time to catch the last bus to Pattaya in Trat. Just in case I get stuck next time: is there a place in Trat were a traveller can find the love and understanding he needs (and were can he find it) ?

Trat has one Agogo a little bit outside of the city centre. It is not the majors, more like Triple -A, with some girls waiting to get the call to Pattaya and some lifers. usaully Thais only frequent the place, but the Mamasan is cool. One girl dances at a time and you buy garlands for them if you like, after her routine she will come sit with you. No bikinis. They wear a kinda hot pants and midriff tank top. One of the blue taxi trucks in front of the market accross from the 7-11 should be able to take you. should cost 150baht or less. Also if you are armed with some Thai there are a couple of Karaokes and there are Restaurants where you might be able to discretely hook up. There is a Karaoke accoss from the SA Hotel, the only one I can think of, off the top of my head. Oh yeah, be sure you wrap that puppy, I know of one girl who became HIV + from the Agogo.

This is an ancient thread, almost a year but I might as well confirm vk's post since guys get stuck here from/to Chang and Cam. The Karaoke across from SA hotel--you'll need not just some Thai lingo. The owner asks for 1500 to get a girl out of there LT. You pay him, she gets 1000 of it, he gets 500. He's a dickhead actually, I mean creep I realize after a long converse with him and a few other encounters with his employees, but should be talked down in price at any rate; however he'll help you as much as he can. All in all, as most res guys know, girls in places like this can be pretty sweet gfe.

Dew and I were in Trat for one night last week, we missed the last (7:00pm) boat to Koh Chang. I got the feeling that the town is very sleepy for p4p, and any p4p is geared towards Thais (not to say a farang would be turned away). Almost all signs of all shops are in Thai. That place across from the SA Hotel was open but I did not partake. Dew seemed to think it was more of a massage place than karaoke.

Yes, there's a massage parlor in as well as a karaoke. Looking from SA's front door, karoke to left, massage to right.
