i have stayed at a place called sunrise bungalows in lamia didnt have a problem at all. nice little that family that run it and they would just ive us a knowing smile when we went to breakfast wwith a different girl each morning. this time we will be staying at the sand sea resort in lamai has anyone got any experiences of this place?

Hi guys,
Happy to go back to Thailand again. However, first I have to to the marathon in Tokyo but then I have to relax and more... After a few days in Bangkok I would like to go tu Samui again.
I definitifely looking for a hotel in Chaweng but it has to be girl-friendly. I always used the Samui Resotel but it looks quite different now.
Does anybody know a girl friendly hotel in the south of Samui for March?!?!?

Pat: Always stay in Lamai. You'll probably like it better than Chaweng. You can get to Soi Green Mango in 10 mins. Try Lamai Inn 99. Right on the beach, pool, restaurant etc. 200 meters to downtown strip of bars, cafes, & beer bars. Plenty of girls available. Poolside rooms are bigger & newer. garden rooms OK. They have 6 or 7 right on the sand too (my faves). There's a cool open air bar next door ('Chillin') with some sweet pool tables too. Great beach. The Weekender is all right too. Both friendly. Way friendly. wj

I have been to Samui about 7 times, and I have never been to Chaweng yet.
Always stay at Lamai, I have stayed at Weekender Resort and Marina resort, both GF, both around 1200 I think.
Lamai is OK, a good laugh on Saturday night when they have the girls from the bars boxing.
Samui is a bit touristy though, you know, couples walking aimlessly around in the evenings, shades on their heads and those trousers that finish half way down their leg, cool or what?
