Just wondering if any of you have ever stayed at the Vault hotel in Pattaya, & if you have any favorable/negative reviews of the place. Ran a search but came up with nothing.

Have read many reviews on another forum. No negative reports thus far.
Of course, it might not be to your taste, but there have been no negative reviews thus far.
As to the location, it's not bad. especially if you like to 'party' late around the 'Marine' area.

Thanks for the reply. Just heard back from the hotel & they don't seem to have availability for the dates I'm in Pattaya. Shame cuz it looks like a good place & just perfect for my budget.

Check out these alternatives then:
Try the Diamond Beach Hotel if "central" location is what you are after...cheaper than the Vault.
A nicer place with a less central (read "less noisy") location around the same price is Sabai Lodge in Soi 2. I
Both guest friendly. Enjoy.

Damn DT...and it looked like such a promising place, especially the penthouse suite. Dance pole and all...jezzz, and I booked the View Talay Villa... (thought privacy would be nice, but this place looks fun!)

I stayed there for a few days a couple years ago. Was clean, and had a free laundry service.
Lots of army guys there though, which led to some strange vibes at times. It was owned by a personable american guy which somehow tied in to all the military types staying around.

Stayed there one night during Late May, bottom floor. I think 1,000 or 1,200 for suite (brought in y friend). No complaints at all and had late check out. Two showgirls brought back seemed to enjoy the place as well.

No, they weren't aggressive to me (I'm Canadian) but a few of them were a bit "over the top" and a bit eccentric. Fresh out've Afghan & Iraq tours.... They were just looking to let off a fair bit of steam and had more than enough money to spend. Basically accidents waiting to happen.
Of course, I don't know if they are still getting that crowd there or not.
