Yo fella's,
I was planning on hitting my favorite island of Ko Chang on my November trip...but unfortunatly I had to cut the trip to 15 nights due to work.
I am considering revising my ko chang plans and hitting Ko Samed for 3 nights...Chang is a long bus/van ride and I understand the flights are like 100 bucks each way to/from trat. Besides, I can make a one night detour to a little city on the way to Rayong 
I have been to Samed 2 times but not since early 2003 and was just curious if it is still a nice place to chill.
Also, what is the name of the beach that the power boats drop you at..where they do BBQ on the beach, and have a couple bars with the fire spinners at night???
Tub Tims bungalows is there (if that helps).
Finally, what bungalow recommendations can be made for like 800-1100 baht a night?
