so i just spent two days in maesot getting my visa renewed. let me tell you this place sucks. i couldn't even find a place with internet access. there are very few bars and they are all thai oriented. my first night however i lucked out and met up with a thai guy who took me out and around. their is a decent disco called Y2K that was decently packed and quite reaonably priced. after the club let out he tried to take me around to visit some women available at price. unfortunately i was too drunk to even want to partake and was also a little suspicious. so p4p is available but not without a thai guide. also there some available across the border in burma at the ridiculous price of 200 baht but i also passed on that option. the people there were very friendly i will say
