If alone here's what u can try without fear of doing a Krypto in Jakarta.
Get the hotel to call you a Bluebird or Silverbird taxi (i prefer silverbird). Both these companies have a reputation of being safe and depandable.
Then tell the driver you want him (well, his taxi) all night or whatever. The guy will wait for you as long as you like and the meter will be nothing practically.
Ask the guy to take you to Stadium...it's great! If you don't like that, then go to Sydney2000, Millennium, Rasa Sayang....
They're all discos where you should be able to get what u want.

If you in Jakarta, just tell the Taxi Driver to "Mulia" Hotel. There's a pub call "CJ's" with a lot of expat and chicks arround. Or you can go to "Jalan-Jalan" Cafe, Retro's, Stadium, or if you like lokal style go to BM (Bintang Mawar). If looking for good chicks you can test "1001" or Golden Crown. You can also test place like "Raja Mas" or even expensive place where Jakarta governor always take "relax" like "Hailai" entertaintment place that locate near Jakarta beach (Ancol Marine).
