A SOMEWHAT EXCITING UPDATE! Well, I just got back from the 'Nam and met my little friend. She was a saucey little package to be sure, but I have to say the whole experience was innocent. Not even a kiss. Even so, I was traveling alone in Thailand, Vietnam, etc, so it was nice to be squired around by a beautiful and charming young lady for the companionship at least. Furthermore, I got the impression that there are now plenty of very young and very attractive Vietnamese girls who are interested in foreign guys, albiet for "serious" relationships. In fact, the latest Lonely Planet guide on Vietnam has an article on this very topic.
