What a bad surprise!!
I arrived yesterday night in Abu Dhabi (royal meridien hotel) quite late.
So I went immediately at the "illusions" the disco of my hotel (01H30)
There were so many men that I believed I was in a gay disco.
100 men and maybe 10 ugly girls.
I took a cab and went to "le gauloises" in the meridien hotel (01H45)....same story.
Maybe 10 chinese and 5 old CIS.Not even one was above 5/10.
I went in the dana hotel (dont 'remember the name of the disco.They were just closing.
My cab took me at the howard johnson disco...same story...only ugly and fat girls.
I left and went back to the "illusions" (02H30).
They were just closing but I could take a double voBKa on the spot and I jumped on the only girl that was 5/10,she was bargaining with six men at the same time.
She asked 500dh for ST,i accepted immediately.
A russian nurse staying in AD since 2 months.
No control at all in my hotel (royal meridien)
But she told me that the other meridien (the old) was unfriendly.
She stayed 1 hour and was ok.Nothing special.
I have to stay 3 more nights here!!
What to do except going early.....in the discos.
HELP.

Today,i went early (midnight) at the "illusions" and after at the "gauloises".
I didn't remember me seeing such a poor and bad choice in a big city.
I finally visited the 49th at the dana hotel and find one girl from Erythrée (indian look).
Brought back at the royal meridien (no control at all).
Still two days to spend here.
Happily in 15 days I will be in dubai.
Viva el cyclone.

You might want to check out 49's or Alley Palley.
Courtesy of wicked roger: Al Ain Palace hotel, next to Le Royal Meridien (the new Meridien), off Khalifa Street. Go in the front entrance, turn right and you will see the Alley Pally Corner.

I was only passing on info; never been there myself. But, at least for me, 1/2 the fun is the anticipation and the search. Never know until you do.
One girl who used to work in dxb, then moved to abu dhabi, did say even though it was less income, she liked it as it was more laid back, less competition.

I just come from the ally pally pub which is in the al ain palace,right door of me royal meridien hotel.
Maybe it is a little early...;but there were a dozen of expats and a dozen of......chinese girls.
Not even one above 5/10.
Tonight,i plan to go back at ally pally to see if the cotation has increased....and probably finish at "illusions".
This city is a real pity.
15 days more to wait before going to the cyclone...
If someone has a final advice that could offer me a better night,please tell me!!
