Justfun - The thing about prejudice is it is illogical, so explanation is harder. It is probably something in Chinese culture that has conditioned them to this outlook. Individuals could have had a bad experience with someone from certain culture in the past and as a result be (unfairly) reluctant to go with any one from that culture. For example I tend to avoid African girls for this reason This however would not explain the wide spread nature of the attitudes you describe.
The bar entrance fee thing is probably economic, there may be a feeling, rightly or wrongly, among bar owners that it is more likely Asians will not spend much in the bar and as SteveStx says are only there as spectators (the many subcontinent labourers who wouldn't be paid very well for example). This is born out by the fact entrance usually includes drinks of a value close to the entrance fee.
I had visited Jockeys on many occasions and was totally unaware they charged for entry until a Bangladeshi friend mentioned it. Maybe I am guilty of hypocrisy by doing my best to avoid the entrance charge while being affronted by the discriminatory way it is applied.

The great thing about Dubai P4P is the variety on offer. Two nights, two very different sessions. Last night I got together with the Kyrgastan smiler. I had brought her back a small gift from my travels as a result of something she had told me on our last session. It was worth it to see the smile light up her face.
It was a great time, slow, gentle, relaxed, lots of talking (her English as really improved in the few weeks I have been away). There was lots of hugging, a real GFE.
Quite a contrast to the short, wild, session in the previous night (my last field report). Different girls for different moods, as Kazak from the York said, you don't want to eat chicken every night.

Stevestx, Barcrawler. thanks for the response. I do agree that, like us, the girls do have a right of choice too. But it nevertheless makes us wonder. Do they just go around avoiding a culture just because they had a bad experience with some one from that culture? What about us? Dont we have some bad experiences? Do we stop going with them because of what one chinese girl did to us or a CIS girl did to us?
General consensus has been to avoid the africans. That is because too many cases of rip offs have been reported about the africans. But I have not heard any chinese girls complaining that the asians have been cruel, or exploitive towards them. If that was the case no chinese girl would approach the asians. It is only the girls who think they are top of the line who do that.
I have come across a lot of them in the past few months. Perhaps the old genre of chinese girls is slowly declining and this new genre is taking over. In any case as I said at the beginning. It is just a grievance that needed ventilating. I have nothing against any race. I would still go with a chinese girl, provided she deemed me good enough to speak to me and provided I was attracted to her. I do get approached by some chinese girls once in a while. So I am not saying they are all like that. It is just a few who have such attitude. But it has become a bit difficult to know which ones will respond if you approach them and which ones will turn their back on you. Like one such girl who, seeing us approaching, quickly walked away towards the bar yesterday, even though we were not approaching her. We were doing the round of the pub to see if there were some we had not seen. Maybe she saw a favorite waiter at the bar who gives her a free drink perhaps? I am sure there is some logical explanation to their behavior. But it is a well kept secret.
It does make one wonder. Are they too good for the asians? they dont have problem going with the orientals or the caucasians.

Yesterday evening I decided to visit the Imperial - A Chinese girl approached me immediately and said she knew me, but I could not place her. She was able to say exactly were we were stood in the club last time! - Now it begins to ring a bell! I had not expected to see her as she was going home to China shortly after our last encounter. Anyway she is back with a new hair style and a pushup bra. I apologised, we had a good chat. She is a bright girl with a day job.
She mentioned there would be a lot on Indian's and Pakistani's in later. Thinking of JF's earlier post I decided to push her on this. She say she will not go with them but I could not get here to give a reason. So no new info there, just confirmation of JF's observations.
It was pretty quiet. Most of the CIS girls looked a little young to me. I left the returnee with a promise to hookup in a few days and went back to Jockeys where as I thought I may meet up with a couple of colleagues. They were there, but engaged with some girls. Smiler was busy with some guy. I chatted to an African who claimed to be from Madagascar,reasonably attractive and a good conversationalist.
Final stop was Rocafellas - I could not escape the entrance 50 AED this time and only one drink was included but I didn't fancy the York. The place filled up pretty quickly an was soon too crowded. Several very nice girls were in there, IF you could get anywhere near them.
I spotted a girl I recognised as part an energetic threesome I had about a year ago, A tall heavily built blond 6 foot Russian who I recalled as being the best of the two (even though she wasn't the main attraction initially), great fun and a good attitude. I remade the acquaintance and we adjourned to her place. I was not disappointed, A change from the dark central Asia or Chinese girls I normally favour.
A regular of Rocafellas, she said the Chinese girls were banned as they solicit too aggressively and African girls are no longer allowed in after some pick pocketing.
What I need now is a few days recuperation (energy and finances) after three nights on the trot. I don't know how SteveStx survives yearly two week extravaganza!

Well, after an 8 month hiatus I managed to have a night in Dubai last Tuesday, so not to miss the chance decided to check out and about to see how things had changed.
Had found it difficult to find a hotel room but managed to get one in the APlaza, which ended up being not too bad a staging post - no hassles with the late night company back to my room.
I had been out drinking with some friends early in the evening and had wanted to do some computer shopping prior to hitting the bars so decided to walk from the Aplaza to the Al Ain Center to have a look. Don't know what I was looking for, but going by the attention I was getting from the Asian Mafia on the streets - have these girls become bullet proof, or are they just stupid. They where actually coming over and grabbing me by the arm trying to get my attention - got it all right, but I aint one for doing deals early in the evening, in the open air, with half of Dubai driving by.
Anyway, did my shopping, headed back to the hotel dodging the come-ons, then headed out for a general scout around.
Stop 1 - Victory Pub in the APlaza - one comment - forget about it, full of P4P (mostly Asian but a few large Turkish/Azeri looking women), but unless you are into low scoring comfort machines...... I would give it a pass. There was one girl who possibly would have scored a seven, however I had just spent a week in Hong Kong, so her score dropped markedly. The one good thing about the Victory pub was the price of drink - 18 DHS for a beer, so a good starting point - and the girls in the band weren't that bad looking.
Stop 2 - Waxy O'Connors - ladies night, but ot much going on. Full of expat guys and girls and didn't really seem to be anything happening. Maybe I was a little early - 10:30pm, but didn't look promising.
Stop 3 - went back to the Victory - thinking the place can't have been that bad, also didn't want to be too early into the York. Well it was, so exit stage left and off to the York.
Stop 4 - The York International - can always be relied on for something. For me it was the shock of being recognised after being out of the scene for 8 months. Had really hoped for this to be a "new beginning" but, walked thru the door, got my first beer order in and low and behold I get a tap on th shoulder followed by "hello &^%$# where have you been". Was from a very pretty Ethiopian that I had gotten to know when I was last down here, but I was hoping she would have gone back home by now - obviously not. Anyway was good to have a chat with her especially with regards to business. I was surprised at how empty the York was, normally pretty busy, but the place was half empty. Also the quality had dropped a lot, not that I was getting much of a chance to check it out as A was doing a good job of scaring everybody away. But she did go on about how empty the York was these days. Fewer expat punters, and numebr of girls droppin goff. I kept pointing out to her that tonight was not going to be her night, not with me anyway, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. By midnight and 3 more beers it was time to exit the York. Not for the fact that there was anything there I wouldn't take home, but I couldn't get rid of A, so the easiest thing to do was head to Roccafellas.
Stop 5 - Roccafellas. Obviously this place is becoming the number 2 joint in town (didn't make it to Cyclone, but I still have it up there in my memories). After falling into it by mistake a year ago it never ceases to impress. Walked thru the door into heaven, I think. The difference between the quality of women in Roccafellas and that in the York is ten fold. They may be Russian or from where-the-hell-is-that-istan, but they are generally very good looking. I was instantly taken aback by the picture of a beautiful, slim, blond haired, reasonably sized chested russian standing over to the right of the entrance door. Decided to chase down a beer then see what happens - nearly a big mistake, as when I came back a middle eastern looking gent stepped over to talk to her. N looked across in my general direction gave the guy the very quick cold shoulder then coyly walked across and stood in front of me - biggest come on I've had in a long time (well at least 30minutes anyway). Well wasn't going to waste this chance so started to chat and that was it. Went from hello to how much in all of 60 seconds if even that. Got the "how much you pay" and countered with the "how much you want - your supposed to tell me"! Came back witht 700Dhs - well it was decision time, she would have probably gone for 500Dhs, but sorry guys, this was a got to have, so countered with 600 Dhs and she agreed. Well it was chug a beer time then head back to the hotel time.
Had no problems in the APlaza, don't know if it was because this place is totally girl friendly, or the fact that N looked more like a girlfriend/wife than P4P - I guess it's the impression that counts. Anyway back to the room and onto room service for a few drinks - nothing in the fridge, but then this is the other good thing I found out about the APlaza, 2 whiskies and two beers came to all of 64 Dhs - found a place to half my bar bill in Dubai.
Anyway, overall experience was good. N was 22 years of age, from Moscow and had been in Dubai for all of one month. English not great, but considering she spoke very little when she arrived she has definitely been getting some practise in!!!!!! No BJ, but, all in all a happy experience and have another number to the list that I would contact, if I ever make it back.
So, Dubai is definitely changing in my mind. The girls in the Al Ain/Spinneys parking lot are becoming suicidal and the York has been overtaken by Roccafellas as the place to go in the triangle of sin.
Oh yeah, and stay clear of the Victory Pub!!!!!!

Ever Ready: Welcome aboard mate. Sorry about the Sea View last night. I went over to Sporadic's hotel and we had drinks in the bar at the hotel and talked till about 10 pm. Then Sporadic and I decided to give the Rockefellas a looksie.
Was surprised to see that everyone has to pay the 50 Dhs entrance, regardless of color. And that only gets you entrance to the bar and one drink. Pretty steep. Guess we missed you Barcrawler. Would have been nice to put a face to the name. But then we members do keep missing each other since we dont know what the others look like. I guess at any given time there must be at least two members of the forum at some bar or the other and they dont know each other.
Barcrawler. Thanks for trying to find the reason. Actually I did that a long time back too. I asked the provider why I was being quoted such a high price. The answer made no sense. "Asian men dont pay as much as the Caucasians." This from a provider who asked me for a 1000 dhs for S/T. And the same provider used to go with a Caucasian for 500 dhs L/T. I must be missing a point in there somewhere. But I could not make head or tail of that answer except that the provider did not want to deal with an asian.
Well whatever the reason it sure is funny that those who are discriminated against by the pub managements (The chinese have to pay entrance and the CIS dont. right?) are themselves guilty of discrimination. Guess they dont have any right to complain do they? More power to them and the next one who cries on my shoulder about the entrance charges and how they are being discriminated against will get an earful from me. The chinese I mean.

It actually seem to have subsided the last couple of evenings - As you say there were a lot around on Tuesday, even as early as 8 O'Clock when the area was busy with shoppers. Time was they used to dress reasonably conservativly but recently they are becoming more raunchy - an accident waiting to happen in my opinion. Some are tempting but I would not want to pick up in that environment.
As for Waxy's - I have been there on a number of occasions and never seen any overt P4P activity.
