Hmmm... I actually think I know you Bokon... wonder if I'm not the one who brought you to
Long Beach first... no advice for Tucson... it's coming very close and buyers are too numerous at the moment. Market's horribly in favour of sellers in SL, will prolly need to fly over to Thailand this WE to get some decent deal... not cool...will end up wearing out from travelling so much... Galleface is really great BTW, just noticed their fine dining restaurant in the renovated wing since their turned the whole terrace in a bufet during the high season and I was too lazy to get up and get food... Rather pricey but very nice place. Business in SL is utterly boring otherwise...

Got back to hailand yesterday, had to rush back coz of Chinese New year...not enough time to relax in Galleface... Even GF wasn't so overwhelmed with the thought of going back home.
Otherwise didn't notice particular tensions in CMB, many checkpoints but that's quite usual there. People were expecting some kind of truce to be signed yesterday but don't know much about it. actually rather surprised as it was said in international news the rebels made their best to refrain other tamils to vote for the opposition as the opposition was more inclined to deal peacefully with the situation. Hence wouldn't expect a truce to come up so fast after the elections. Sure missing out a lot there so all insiders welcome.
As of he show, I actually popped in the one last year. Very small, don't expect anything interesting except if you're ealy in need of new contacts in SL

I also stayed at Galle Face. My room was shite. At least it was GF.
Best bet is to tour the casinos for Chinese/Thai pickups. $50 ST, $100 LT. Be prepared to lower your standards, either in looks, services or both.
I picked up a 4 who surprisingly turned into a 6 once unclothed. Service was very satisfactory with skilful BBJ/CBJ, tight-pussy FS in various positions, and ended in a deliciously prolonged "shake".
Tried a local nightclub near Hilton: the inaptly named "Winter Palace". Full of hot local talent. Rp500 entrance, Rp2000 for the VIP room, but no hanky-panky. No take-out from the club, or so they say. I guess the point is to spend a lot of money on drinks and tips, then go home & jack off alone. Not my MO, but worth a visit for the view and a chat. The GRO's are intelligent & good conversationalists.

Stayed at Cinnamon Grand on this trip. Avoid if you want hanky-panky - otherwise a very nice hotel. A guest will cost another $26, with the girl's name neatly itemised on your room bill. That really helps with company expenses...
Took a Thai from Bellagios. A $100 pump-and-dump. She was very skilled but just not interested.

About Galleface, they have very different room qualities, 3 to 4 stars in the old aisle and prolly 5 in the new aisle. The restaurant there sure could stand in Oriental or Peninsula in BKK. Very nice.
Besides they also renovated the pool and during the two last trips we stayed in the Royal suite, the biggest I think in the old aisle. Actually along with GF we missed the place straight away and arriving in the Ascott Premier Suite in Bangkok found it very small and lacking of character despite its brand new 94sqm.
Sure noticed some shitty rooms in Galleface but if U're willing to pay a bit more it can be quite a nice place to stay - bargain hard as well we got almost 50% on the published rate even on high season. Dunno on how they itemise the girls on the total bill though but you said they were girlfriendly I think.
Have you been to H2O BTW??

Not quite sure but think Continental is right next to the Hilton. The club MKOP might be in this hotel but anuway Colombo's downtown is rather small action won't be far. While clubs are disapointing and pick up not always easy hostess bars-along casinos- are plentiful. Plus many brothels although I still need to find an attractive one.
And TGs don't need a visa to come over, U might fly one for a couple of hundred bucks if you're afraid to be too lonely there -my strategy exactly.
