Hi Calzoid, was there (HCMC) last week. Very safe, probably safer than Los. No Anti Australian nor I suspect American feelings. Glad to take your money!
The run down "numbered" Bars in the Centre of HCMC vary in quality but you can usually find a few gems. There is a huge quantity of Freelancers working the Night Clubs and most of the Bars. Really beautiful women around, better built than most TG's.
Only real problem is Guest friendly Hotels which are hard to find! Most people only use the short time hotels of which there are plenty!
I will have to TOTALLY disagree on what you say about the VN girls being better built then TG's. Nothing beats Thai bodies, faces, Teeth, or tits. Definately not VN. I have gone to big high class VN discos, and the even the "hot" girls are not the greatest looking, and few in number. Dental Health seems to be factor in VN. Check out how brown their teeth are.
Plenty of nice guest friendly small hotels around the New World Hotel.

As always, one mans 10 is another mans 5! The Girls in HCMC tend to have bigger boobs than TG's and I have found their attitude and GFE excellant. Last week in the Disco at the top of the Sheraton there were many stunning ladies who were there for more than dancing!
Probably should have better qualified the Hotel comment, the major Hotels (3 Star and above) are not Girl Friendly, yes your right there are lots of short time Hotels around but very few Hotels that you can check in to that will let you bring a girl to you room without making you take another room!

Want a nice hotel that has second " private entrance" try Liberty 4 district one,, next door is a cofee shop come bar with a seperate massage place ( HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR vIET STYLE MASSAGE, POLE ABOVE BED ETC). take your girls there for last drink before action,, pay bill, head down short hallway toward the toilets,,,, just before toilet door is an unmarked door,, open AHH you are on 2nd or 3rd floor of liberty hotel. No walk of shame etc,, but remember DO NOT get caught with a girl in your room in Vietnam,, at least US200 to get out of trouble.
