As for Indians having body odour..........well, you could suggest the management at HALEM put up a board saying "NO SHOWER BEFORE MASSAGE = NO MASSAGE", since their employees have such sensitive noses. 
By the way, if you were to have an encounter again with the masseur.......just ask her how she reached the decision in her unlimited knowledge that the bad smelling guys are all Indians (from India) ? A chap of Indian decent, born in Indonesia and having an Indonesian passport would be an Indonesian. Not an Indian.
Or are you considering it the Chinese way - like folks of Chinese decent in indonesia STILL consider themselves Chinese and not Indonesians ? Think about it mate. And keep that pen and paper handy.......

I really think that it's not only personal hygiene. It is the food they eat that causes the odor.
Thailand and Indonesia are equally fantastic places for ladies. I can also ride around in a cab in Bangkok and see beautiful ladies at every turn. I only mentioned Jakarta before because you had compared it to Bandung and Bombay. (I wonder if the phrase 'stink Bomb' originated from 'Bom bay'?)

LOL. I'm just guessing. Although the Indians seem to preserve their culture wherever they go. Like in Singapore where they have that goofy little Indian section of town. I personally think an Indian born in Singapore is really no different from one born in India. They like to retain their culture whereever they go. Nothing wrong with that. Again, I think the smell may be related to the food.

Your post appearing at the end of page 6 is the way you should have started out to begin with - i.e. saying that you have always been treated well by Indians and that your main grouse with India is that you could not get laid and that some parts of Mumbai stink .
This is something none of us would have flamed you about , because although we Indians are proud of our country we are also realistic enough to know our weak points and acknowledge them .
If you want to see hordes of beautiful girls while you drive around in a taxi then I would suggest that you cruise around Malabar Hill , Pali Hill , Bandra , Breach Candy , St. Xavier's College , Sophia's College , etc.
If you want to avoid the smelly localities then stay in the Colaba / Marine Drive area .
If you want to see girls that will make you drool then visit the Discos in the Colaba area - BUT I cannot guarantee that they will even give you the time of day .

Regarding the body odour of Indians ( which you have covered in 3 posts on page 7 ) I once again recommend that YOU READ THE THREAD " FARANG - BODY ODOUR " in this Forum .
IT IS NOT ONLY INDIANS WHOSE BODY ODOUR IS DISLIKED BY BG's .
And regarding your comment that Indians take their culture where ever they go . YES , THAT's BECAUSE WE HAVE A CULTURE !!!

Thanks for the suggestions on places to go. Although I agree that they probably would not give me the time of day. In all of my travels to India, there was only one girl I thought was really attractive. I arrived in India along with a counterpart from London. He and I both liked the same girl. (of course, she was head and shoulders better than anything we had seen in India.) We both flirted and did our best to chat her up. She ended up preferring me over him and I did go to dinner with her a few times. The next time I was in town, she showed me around and took me to a wedding. Very nice girl, very attractive. But the more I got to know her, the more I realized that her personality was not attractive to me. I think Indian women are too analytical. She almost had a personality similar to Mr. Spock. To reasonable. I like giggly, fun girls who like to have a good time. Not some girl who doesn't joke around much. I still see her around when I visit, but I dont ask her out anymore. I never slept with her. I know she liked me, but she was such a nice girl, I would never have wanted to sleep with her if I really didn't care about her. This is my one and only true experience in India other than a few high priced hookers in the Leela and a trip to the Sea Princess where the girls there were not nice enough to waste my time. I did check out the red light district in Mumbai once. That was scary and dirty. Forget that. I'll remain celebate in India. Thank God all countries are not like India. It's just not a place that is made for the single man. I respect the Indian culture. But it's not a place I want to be!

Guys.........don't hold me back, but I did mention in the last 2 messages that JKTGUY should be armed with a paper and pen wherever he goes and jot down his feelings. As you can see, sooner, rather than later, he's back to his same old story.........India that, India this, smelly Indians.
I really dont know what to think of your Jktguy.......you have a knack for upsetting eople with your comments.
Like Confucious said...........Man with head up his arse gets shitty view of/on life.
Face it mate. Indians are everywhere you go.........in every field. You can't afford to get by without them. And liek it or not you ARE dependent for your bread n butter (maybe Nasi Goreng in your case) on Indians. If not entirely, definitely a part of it.
And I am sure you've been to the gutters, that's probably the only reason you haven't seen the beauty of India.
Smell..........OK, I admit everyone has a peculiar body odour which may not be pleasant to others. But talk of Indonesia dude.......talk of the fuilthy cigarettes you guys smoke........its worse than the body odour of cattle n pigs.
My view is......if someone can survive the odour of Kretek cigarettes.......nothing's too bad to bear after that.
Think about it. And keep that pen and paper handy. Write down what you feel and then stuff it some place where the sun don't shine..........
That's brotherly advice for you.

I have been to Pakistan. Islamabad is nicer than any place I've seen in India.
And str8, if you consider the nicest 5 star hotels in India to be the gutter and consulting for the most prestigious companies in India to be the gutter, then yes, I have been in the gutter.
I don't smoke. But if a person is smoking, I can avoid them while they are smoking. Unfortunately, you can't completely avoid a person who has Body Odor if you have to work with them.
