I'd be grateful if someone could answer me three questions:
1) How can I find these Casual Dress Clubs Juniper talked about in his post? Or how can I find some local who knows and can introduce me? (My aquaintances won't do. I am probably being paranoid but I'm afraid that a foreigner getting caught in these clubs by the police, or maybe by the media, will be big news here, especially if he has a somewhat prestigious job)
2) Once inside, is it dangerous from gangsters picking a fight, or from the owner or girl blackmailing me afterwards? (hotels seem to me more risky, especialy since I've been living here on permanent basis--boss or wife should obviously never find out)
3) If I go to a hotel and call an escort through the paper, will I run the risks mentioned above? I heard that in some places a foreign customer (therefore one not likely to have any friends here who might be "established" or customers of the joint ) is possible to be given a new higher charge, maybe with the "encouragement" of pimps.bursting-in on him. Is this true?
Being a little spoiled from the London scene years ago, I am willing to pay whatever it takes for highest quality (looks attitude and safety).
I know I am dreaming, but I thought I'd ask anyway.
It's very frustrating because it seems that whatever actions goes on, it goes on for locals only. And I can't go to Thailand as I don't live alone and my job does not offer itself as good excuse. Sorry about the paranoia. I'll be grateful for specific info.

1) The area with most concentration of G club is in Lin Shen North Road. and Chong Tzou East Road ( section 4) near Sogo. You will need someone to get u into casual dress club. The uniform club is usually easier to get into, but there is no action in the room and is much more costlier. ( personally, I like uniform club as the quality generaly is higher). As far as being caught, I do agree foreigner is more riskier, ( remember the foreigner baseball player recently get taped in G club)
2) Once inside, as long as u keep a low profile, it should be ok. But I do worry about black mail.
3) This is probably the best route, one shot deal and no after effect. To get the best quality, you need to go through agent. There are 4 agents in taiwan who will deal with movie and TV stars. The price range from TND 20,000 to over 500,000 depend on how famous is the girl. Buyer beware, many of the TV and movie star look much worse in real life. Trust me. The best way to get to know agent is through ur friends. If you have a prestigious job then I am sure some of your taiwanese friend want to butter u up and this way you can get info discreetly.
Alway be careful, as black mail often happen in taiwan, and I would not trust anyone easily.

Unfortunately although it is a prestigious and well paying one, it is not in the business sector. And therefore the people I know will definitely not mention or help me in these things.
I guess I am really out of luck.
