Stay at Anou Hotel and pick up girl from downstairs disco. Inside disco very dark. Mamasan will come sit with you. Tell Mamasan you want girl to come to your room ST or LT. The girl can come to your room via back way with no problem.

It's alway's the case when you leave somewhere, you run into someone and they tell you of another girl location. While staying in Udon, an aussie bloke who live's there told me I should have visited the fountain area of Viantiene. It is a large intersection about 2 streets back from the river playground area and plenty of girl's.
I cannot verify this, so you will have to check it for yourselves. Best direction's would be to start at the river near the floating boat restaurant and walk or just pay a tuk tuk (40b) to take you to the Fountain area.
Just be carefull, prostitution is illegal same as LOS, but if you get caught in LAOS it may cost you a bundle of cash.

My travel mate and me were in Vientiane and had a very entertainig night:
First made a stop at Marina, this place is mainly populated by local laos. In the beginng nothing special but after 11pm more and more good-looking girls arrived. Some of them real stunners, perfectly styled. We were quite impressed. Chatted up a group of three girls (two above average). Their english was much better than most of the thai hookers. Then some male friends of the girls showed up. They suggested to change the place and two show us a place with more action. They took us to the hotel disco of the Don Chan Palace Hotel (the only multi story hotel in Vientiane).
They were right. The club was really sizzling. A lot of western and locals. Within a minute we were surrounded by some freelancers. They were pretty offensive. We let things go without having in mind to take some anywhere as we read about the no-go policy in Laos. An hour later we both had some nice company. At about 3 am the club got less crowded and the girls wanted to go. We followed them curiously. On their motorbikes we went to a restaurant and had a noodel soup there. Still we had no intention to screw the girls. They took us to our hotel and suggested to stay with us. We were both were surprised and asked if there is not a risk involved. They said no and we went upstairs. In our room we had two king size beds and got laid
The next day we had to do the walk of shame but nobody did bother us. We just went out with the girls and had breakfast in a close restaurant.
In the evening we saw a sign at the reception:
Please do not take Lao girl to your room.
My mate and me looked each other and had to laugh.

There's no mention of price ranges for LT / ST in Vientiene?
From reading other Forums:
LT - 2000-3000 baht
ST -1500
* This was info from Dec 07 and consisted of
hotel bars/disco ladies.
Any recommendations on the best pick-up joints, besides the Mekong Hotel??
