Well what an awful adventure!  I went on a caribbean cruise in the western caribe! I was traveling the caribbean with my african american princess!  she puts up with my predeliction for sweeties from LOS
The whales were out in force on this adventure.  I could point my harpoon in any direction and nail a keeper!  The expanse of white flesh evident was neauseating! If you were looking for some teats to wean on there were a few tasty milky udders to suckle, and that was the highlight! 
The best visuals were to be found on the staff. There was a plethora of filipinas  and a few other SEA ethincities thrown in for variety!
If you are looking for tedium  and a kick in the ass to get to any where else than farangland; I advise a four day or more stint on a cruise ship!  It will cure you of any desire to reacquaint your self with the pale bloated fleshy fems!
There just was not enough alcohol to make me want to sleep with most of those women!

Hey, some of those Flips and similar on board are just trying to make a dime to help their family.
I've met quite a few and I feel for them.
If any of them effed you, I'm sure they just strayed from the course, momentarily.
Or perhaps I'm just jealous.

I've taken several of these cruise ship adventures over the years and your observations of course are correct. I always chatted up the staff and parcticed my Thai. Unfortunately it is rather difficult to get anywhere other than a friendly conversation. The regs on the ship are pretty tough and can result in a cute SEA beauty being left at the next port for any extra off duty socializing. I've heard the crew parties are pretty wild tho. A couple of friends actually disembarked in the Dominican Republic and went straight to a brothel. So, you can have a good time on these cruises but for p4p grab a cab and wander away from the port of call. fwiw, you can arrange to hang out with some of the cuties from the ship during the port of calls as that is not necessarily off limits. They generally work 6-7 day shifts of 12 hours a day for minimum wage and tips. Length of contract is usually 7 months. I'm sure some would love to earn some extra cash to send home to family.

Most of the crew on cruise ships share cabins so it is difficult to arrange things in the crew quarters. In the years gone by though Oldtimer has had relationships during shore leave with ladies from the spa/hairdressing shop. Also on one cruise I got to know the assistant purser rather well (Japanese). She had her own small cabin. Its been 15 years though since I was on one of those tubs.

Like you oldtimer I've had some good times on a cruise or two. Only once with a crew member which is tricky but not impossible. My favorites were a Nurse from Boston and a State Senator from Deleware. Our views on politics were different but still a LOT of fun. We usually hang out on the topless deck on the Carnival ships and performers from the crew hang out up there as well. Any mega cruise ships that call on Asian ports?
