Will be moving to LOS in March but thinking of heading down to Brazil first for some R&R. Anyone has any experiences in Brazil to share? I saw pictures of the ladies down there and was totally blown away. Can someone do a comparison and share some stories.

A good trick is to take a shower as soon as you get in the place and change your clothes (storing your clothes in the locker). You can go to the sauna and get ready to go to the lobby with the "towel" on. With this procedure you will avoid that your clothes will get the smell of the cheap perfume of the girls.... this is a good advise if you are married.
These places will hit you with a cover charge of 70 Reales (3.8 reales=1 USD) that allows you to get around 7 beers (350 ml) or 3 spirits/drinks....there is no TIME LIMIT. You can stay there watching TV, reading news or talking to the girls at your convenience. ALL the girls are hanging around in lingeries or even topless. I will summarize it saying that in Brazil they are better "actresses". Unless you have some locals who are friends I would suggest that if you are in Rio stay on the tourist "strip" of Copa and Ipanema. You should be okay. Stay away from the ocean at night. Take taxis from your hotel if you are going to the termas in the city at night. Stay away from the favelas at all times. You shoukd be safe.
After a couple of trips under your belt then go ahead and be more adventurous
