That's true. Out in the sticks, you can find families who will sell their daughters off in the back of their little shanty houses for $10 a pop. I've never done it because I don't fancy sex with a girl in a dirty little hovel while her father is 10 steps away (even though he is the one selling her). Finding those places is not so easy though.
The prices I listed are the normal prices in Jakarta these days. I think Indonesia and Thailand are quite similar in price when comparing the cities of Bangkok and Jakarta or even comparing the rural areas. I'm sure you can find some cheap girls out in the sticks in thailand as well. It's just not very convenient.

Jakarta is one of my favourite places to play. Lots to chose from but basically you can break it down into 4 P4P entertainment types.
1) High End Hotel Bars/Nightclubs such as BATS in the Shangri-La, CJ in the Mulia & Tiga Puluh in Le Meridian which abound with Free Lancers from mid Evening. This is the more expensive option with most of the Girls wanting up to a 1,000,000 Rups, this can be negotiated down, if your lucky to about half this.
2) Blok M is an area of Jakarta featuring a lot of Japanese Karaoke Bars & a street of Expat Bars, current king of these is Top Gun. Free Lancer Heaven, asking prices are lower than the down Town Bars, starting at 5-600,000 Rups. Quality is more variable but quantity is never an issue. Also look in D's (due to close soon so the rumours go), My Bar (to loud to talk to anyone) & G String.
3) Pubs & Bars such as the Hard Rock, Flanagan's in the Pan Pacific, BuGils at Taman Ria Senayan also get the odd Free Lancers but not as popular as the first 2 on my list.
4) Shopping Centres, yes lots of Free Lancers (most part time) hang round the Major Shopping Centres, particularly early evening. You have to be both subtle & careful but they are there & usually make them selves obvious to you!
Otherwise places like 5 +1 can be fun (send me a PM if you want to know where this is), Stadium if your into Trance music & "lifestyle" (but it can be a dangerous place, not recommended) plus there is a lot of Massage Parlours that provide extras in China Town.

Cambodia is good if you like extremely cheap, but it's not the nicest or most comfortable place to visit. I think the prices in Indonesia and Thailand are about the same these days.

Just did a week Bali, yes there is P4P & Massage but its not Bangkok. There are Girls (Fl's) working the Bars in Kuta & plenty of touts offering services (I do not partake in this normally so have no opinion on this service.) Try the Hard Rock Hotel Club, lots of available Eye Candy most nights.

Pretty much as previously stated, pricing similar but the Rp has strengthened considerably so actually higher. Also basically Top Gun in the Blok, forget the rest, maybe My Bar after 12!
