You have to remember that DG tries to impress everyone with how much money he spends....lololol. He is not a good example of what to expect to spend.

Hotels everywhere have their own rules about bringing girls back, and most of it has to do with the hotel's reputation, not what the law states. With anywhere in the world, the only thing you have to be concerned about is if they are underage (18). That is the only thing that could get you in trouble, anywhere.
You stay at the Miami hotel on lower Sukhumvit, and bring a girl back that is not your wife. Not only will they kick the girl out, but you too. There are essentialy no laws, it is just up to the hotel.
Also, if it is not the hotel's policy of taking a hooker's id card, then they will laugh at you, and wonder what you want, if you try to have them do it.
You want a good hotel, in the center of everything, then stay at the Manhattan on soi 15, and book as a double.
For only being in Bangkok for one day coming and one day going, you are acting like you will be here a week, and have time to check everything out, and get exactly what you want. Wrong.....lool. Getting exactly what you want might never happen, no matter how long you were here for.
You need to quit all this planning, and expectations, and just take what you find, and have a good time. If you have NO expectations then you will not be disappointed, and can actually enjoy what you find, in the very short time you are here.
You constantly keep trying to set yourself up for disappointment. "I don't want this, I don't want that, She has to be this age, she has to be like this, and that". These are all habits of setting yourself up for disappointment. In the evening there are girls everywhere you go. It will not be hard to find one that also likes you.
It is actually very safe to walk around Bangkok at night. Start at soi 22, and end up on soi 24. If you can not find anyone in that area in a couple of hours, then you are hopeless.
Do you want to have fun getting layed, or just put a trophy on your wall.

You guys don't know me real well, so I can see what you would think the way you do about me.. But trust me, I will be fine. Whatever I write sometimes is just passing thoughts. Everyone I have been I have gotten laid, sometimes multiple times per day at different places, so I am not worried. I am jus throwing stuff out there sometimes.
